Give me one example of something you do without any selfish motivation.

It’s mostly wrong. If by self interest you instead mean self preservation then I will consider it partially true. It is entirely possible for people to be driven by care for others or react to prevent harm against others when self preservation isn’t threatened, even outside of self interest. And when self preservation is threatened people may very well choose to weigh the good achieved by helping others.

Out of college I intend to serve as a caseworker because helping cut the red tape of bureaucracy for others and genuinely doing good for them is morally fulfilling.

But.... even when you do things that seem to be selfless you still get a good feeling from helping the helpless. So it is still in your own self-interest to help others. Or you might even be expecting to receive some reward, tangible or not.

Uber, it is not enough to prove that there is a tangible motive in self interest in each of those actions, rather, you have to prove that it is either the only or the primary motivator in every one of those situations.

Your statement is still false uber. You said that people are driven *only* and *fully* by self interest. That's false, as the above examples show that the benefit to one's self is not exactly equivocal to the benefit to others.

You can try to argue how the feeling of serving one's country temporarily is worth being brutally multilated, tortured, captured, or killed, but I'm not buying it. Also those actions are still not *fully* and *only* driven by seelf interest in that case.

donating to charity, this is the classic example of pampered people with money trying to feel good about themselves.

I believe the phrase you're looking for is that "people respond to incentives" which is true.

A brief and fleeting feeling you’ll forget is not a self interest motive.

Another thing I should point out is that some people, like everyone here, might like to think that they are actually motivated by true selflessness, when they are infact not.
