Depends on the mouse. If it's just a field mouse who's got lost then catch him in a box or something and let him outside. They're dopey sods when they're out of their comfort zone.

If it's your bog standard house mouse kind of thing, a few traditional traps with bread as the bait will do the trick. They're not very bright.

Have you identified what type of mouse it is? Some species have an inbuilt function which allows you to change the DPI - lower it and the mouse should move slowly enough for you to catch it.

mice are supposedly infested with ticks this time of year so be sure to check all of your....usual places for the little bloodsucking disease carriers before bed tonight.

Tick bites are on a par with rabies.
Field Mice or shrews (or deer) carry smaller, infectious tick.
