Wondering about a supporting mechanic
Hey guys, is it possible for me to support an enemy troop to destroy one of my own? For example: French army in Paris supports German army in Holland to take Belgium, in which there is a French army.

A couple quick questions
Hey guys,
I couldn't find the questions thread, so I'm posting this here.
1) What happens if you run out of diplomacy points? How do I get more?
2) Just found out that you can only build new units in your home centers.

3 unranked gunboats
Would anyone like to play 3 unranked gunboats with me either here or on vdip? You don't need to partake in all three although I would appreciate it. Skill level can be anything from capt brad to SplitDiplomat. Only thing I'll be looking at is reliability.

I support Isis
In the typical form of her myth, Isis was the first daughter of Geb, god of the Earth, and Nut, goddess of the Sky, and she was born on the fourth intercalary day. She married her brother, Osiris, and she conceived Horus with him. Isis was instrumental in the resurrection of Osiris when he was murdered by Set.

Seeking Full-Press Players
Hello everyone,
I'm looking to get a semi-anon, full-press, DSS game going.
I'd like to set the RR level at 90%, to make sure we have people who don't miss turns, but would be willing to bring it lower if necessary.
60 or 120 D would be ideal, but that is also open for change.

Giuseppe. Yes you are sadly enough completely correct there! ;(

The even more sad story is how badly this implicates the 25% morons that voted for this Clown and then the 50% that not even bothered to vote at all.

75% of American people are equally responsible for this shitty situation.

He might be a bad president, or a nutjob, but that doesn't mean he's an idiot.

He might be a business man, and making a lot of money from the presidency (secret service renting golf carts from his golf course, is actually making him money, while spending the secret service budget faster than any president before him - as one example).

He might have plans to distract from his actions with big rhetoric, or he might just want the people to celebrate his 'greatness' - hence his constant pandering to crowds of Americans in campaign style rallies - despite the campaign being over.

I don't think he likes being president, but he's admitted that being presidential is an act for him. Just a facade he puts on that goes with the job (and as a reality tv star he is almost certainly used to putting on these kinds of acts... I'd argue his whole lifestyle is an act, the 'rich guy' act...)

Whether it is a distraction, done for tactical reasons to keep the media focused on his 'gaffs' and 'controversies' while in the background the federal agencies protecting the people (like the EPA and CDC) are stripped of their ability to function, and wealthy business men gain huge control and influence.

Or whether it is just a neurotic man, doing his best to keep everyone happy while he acts like an idiot at times to put people at ease... I don't know.

But i'm not convinced he is an idiot. I think his priorities are fucked up, and he's rather childish at times... but i can't tell how much is an act.

Oh brainbomb. since the founding of the republic, the popular vote does not matter. it is the votes of each state. the whole of california can vote one way and its 35 million would still only yield 55 electorial votes. besides she LOST states that obama won. let that popular votes fantasy just die, like hillary's second failed campaign

I dont deny Trump is a president

He carried 47% of the voters.
Hillary carried 48%

You are saying 48% of the American voters are irrelevant. Thats a pretty unamerican thing to say

Bill Clinton NEVER won the popular vote and was a two term president. No other two term president ever lost the popular vote TWICE.

But Bill Clinton did win the popular vote both those times...
CAPT Brad (40 DX)

in 1992 56.9% of the voters were made irrelevant.
in 1996 50.77% of the voters were made irrelevant.

I see no argument here against the two terms of bill.

what he won was the ELECTORAL votes. THAT is what is REQUIRED. Popular vote means NOTHING!

1992 - 43.01%
1996 - 49.23%

Yea but the difference is Clinton moved to the center as opposed to partisan total alienation.

Trump has relentlessly chosen every right wing cabinet member, pushed every right wing agenda, and aliented 48% of the voters. He has embraced supremacist groups, and pushed for white-man first policies since in office.

He has not tried at all to bring that 48% into the political process. And that number will inevitably be even larger in 2020. You cant win relection by sucking off the base.
CAPT Brad (40 DX)
29 Aug 17 UTC
Bill Clinton was forced to move because congress was controlled by Republicans after the 1994 election. It was to keep him in check.
