That's "grubby gunboat" or perhaps five minute phase times. We need Diplomacy time during moves in order to hurl abuse and epithets at each other.

I'm with MajorMitchell, we need diplomacy phase in order to offload all the salt this game generates. I definitely see MangoDude's point, though. All the alliances and betrayals take forever, and get in the way of the game. I propose that we could replace free-form diplomacy with template messages. For instance:

"<country>, you threw the game you scrub. You're not even going to win, you just ensured <country> will win because you don't know how to play"

"WTF, screw you, <country>. I don't even care about winning anymore, my every last move will ensure you fail."

"You got lucky, <country>. I would have won if <reason> and then <contingency>."

@ Prince William. That's a unique game where the players are meant to make no moves at all. It's also a game I managed to crack a previous password for, and enter briefly, but powerful Almighty Mods protect that game and I got expelled promptly

Those dark forces are keeping that game out of joinable games, even though technically with three "dummy" players down as left the game, it might have been joinable, but password protected. They might be trying to stop password cracking pests like me from having fun
