Thanks for the list, Blade. Fighters are capable of holding 6 crew members, and I believe we should give it a full crew.

PRESIDENT -- if we need a ton more people to man battleship and for defense - should we suspend heroes day until our war is finally finished --- i know the people sick of war but we're not finished.... I would like to use any/all of my 1000 credits to help with morale --- build a monument to fallen heroes; trade for a luxury from Croatia or Turkey or Macedonia ... other?

Counsellor Kench sent me back up to the surface - it seems like there's some pretty interesting stuff down there (not that I understand it) and he's not keen to leave it just now, but the signal is awful. He's also waiting on a scan of life down here that the Brain was meant to send to him, so he wants to be on site when that comes through in case it contains anything problematic. Did you receive his most recent transmission?

He's asked me to apologise for being out of touch for so long and said he'll do his best to get on the blower every few hours - or send me up (though it takes quite a while to climb back out, so any messages you pass on may not reach him with complete immediacy).

He reckons that with so many counsellors being pulled away, including himself, that it would not be wise to send VP Blades to Croatia. We have no idea what the information is and, while he doesn't think it's likely to be a trap, it may not be worth the price of losing our chief medic and Vice President. Perhaps we can suggest an alternative? We only need 3 Serbium for a teleporter pad: we have 7 Serbium and we still have 1 left to mine. So perhaps we could offer them 2 Serbium and some credits (he says the Health and Housing department has 1500 going spare at the moment) for the information. That leaves us with the ability to make 2 teleporter pads (and them zero - they'll have to find something else to do with the Serbium, though we shouldn't tell them that).

He's also said that he's not sure what the exact difference between Proposals 10.2 and 10.3 is, but that he is willing to support the Defense Minister's final position. Consider his vote to be in favour of whichever Counsellor Leon ends up supporting.

He's also had a look through the books and reckons we only need 30 workers for farming. The harvesters and recycler should gather food on their own, as far as he can tell, so no extra workers required there.

That's all he's got for now, but I'll stay up here for a bit to pick up anything urgent and relay it back to him.

Hello Agent Scarn! Glad you are well. Yes we received Minister Kench's transmission - we''ll confirm that Brainbot fully understood. Can you tell us what you have observed even if you don't understand it?

Please also ask Minister Kench why he would choose 10.3 vs 10.2 without knowing the difference. .... in times of potential and/or actual conflict - siding with the Minister of Defense instead of the VP + Secretary of State should not be a reflex action but well thought out ......

Ah ok - that helps clarify - but why would we wait? that means the Prawn are on their own until our allies arrive with our forces ... and what if the allies don't actually arrive?

Also - I believe the crater being caused by a spacecraft from cyprus was just a hypothetical comment from the President - back when he was merely a Mad scientist and prone to fanciful ideas ..... we have no idea yet at all what actually caused this crater --- or if it's just natural to the planet

@council - if we are invaded by any ground troops that make it past our perimeter system -- we have very few or even zero fighting forces as everyone allocated and a bunch will be on battleship ..... we should get our people that are partying armed and ready to defend..... not sure if President or Defense minister should make that announcement

Blade, I have received confirmation from the VP (you) that the Croatian forces will be arriving very soon. As for why we should wait for them, we have a lesser chance of losing our ships and the battle if we receive reinforcements soon after first engagement.

Whatever the case may be with the spacecraft, I think we would be better safe than sorry. I am disinclined to disturb our celebrating heroes, but I suppose we must take some precaution.

Each phase a farm needs 10 workers to maintain it

Greenhouses – Produces +1 food boosts each phase and improve health +1. Requires 200 workers, and an appointed Specialist or Councillor. 500 Steel. 600 Credits. Water.
Once built theyre automated requiring no workers.

Many things. You can offer trades of credits for things or buy things.

Special Agent Michael Scarn here again folks. I don't quite know how you planned on getting those gas masks to us in time, all the way out here by the crater, but luckily Counselor Kench suggested we each take one with us when we left - I hear they're pretty standard issue gear for alien desert exploration...

That said, it's difficult to tell what's going on down there in the crater. To the untrained eye, there's a heck of a lot of debris - presumably from whatever made the impact. It could be parts of an escape pod, and there was clearly some insignia on the outside which we might be able to identify if we can clean it up, but it's not clear. There are also a dozen or so dead bodies strewn about - we've been encouraged to avoid those until we have a definitive read on the lifeform count. I'm hoping that'll only come up with the six of us, because if there's any more than that, we could be in for some trouble.

I've got to say also, the rock down in the deeper parts of the crater has an odd metallic orange tinge to it and out of the corner of your eye it almost feels reflective. It's not like any rock I've ever seen, but there is a heck of a lot of it here.

Fellow Counsellors! Kench here, I have just pulled the entire team out of the crater – we are camped out here for now until the Council decides what to do, but we’ve made a couple of pretty interesting discoveries.

First off, I found a handful of plastic Cypriot coins here. Also, the largest remaining piece of metal from whatever it was that crashed here looks like it had some sort of insignia on the side – it could be the Cypriot flag (but I wouldn’t bet on it).

Secondly – and more importantly – under the surface layers of sand and other rock, there is what seems to be a gigantic seam of Serbium (Agent Scarn must have missed the news the day we discovered and subsequently named our new ore). Obviously, we won’t know exactly how big it is until we have an opportunity to excavate, but it is very clearly the same type of orange metallic-hued rock throughout this entire crater. It is extremely densely packed.

I’m no scientist, but is it possible that this ore creates its own magnetic field and that the sheer density of this seam pulled a Cypriot escape pod out of the sky, causing it to crash land here instead of landing safely? That doesn’t explain why we haven’t all been sucked into it (there’s plenty of metal in our guns, gas masks, hunting knives…), unless there’s any way that the pull effected on the object is increased as the size of the object itself increases. Equally, is there any way that could explain our difficulty contacting one another from inside the crater, or the Brain’s inability to perform a life scan of the area? I don’t know enough about all this – it’s all conjecture. But it struck me that we know that Serbium has magnetic properties, we’ve simply never discovered it in such quantities before (our first mine has depleted in only eight phases).

I’ve a feeling that if we can get our teleportation tech up and running, we could have found an exceedingly valuable source of the only ore that makes it possible.

Which might, of course, be yet another reason that SpaceX wants us out of the picture – the minute we discovered the ore it must have been extrapolating all of the possibilities.

I need some advice pronto on what we do next. And also on what we do with those dead bodies. If they definitely are from the zombie-infested Cypriot colony, then we may have some trouble getting to the ore…
