Rules and Objectives<br>

1) This is a game with no end. Players will opt in and opt out as they wish. Phases are 48 hours. If you miss a phase - no big deal.<br>
<br>
2) Each phase you and the crew vote on a series of issues and how to resolve them. Example: the colony has discovered a titanium deposit northwest of here. Or, a smallpox outbreak has killed several cattle. What do you do?<br>
<br>
3) Councillors vote together and create ways to improve-grow-feed-defend the colony. You create your government and decide how to manage it.<br>
<br>
4) All events are randomly determined every 48 hours. Some phases may be easy. Some phases may be incredibly challenging. There will always be trasnparency on how situations resolve.<br>
<br>
5) Every phase you may select what to produce as a colony, you keep a budget, hire experts and there will be occasional random encounters.<br>

In 2060, the sea levels rose to unbearable levels. By 2061 low lands in Florida, India, Louisiana, and river deltas across the globe were inundated. Dutch engineers led by a man named Hague, failed to save the city of Miami and a chain of events was set into motion. Nuclear war broke out across the Middle East. Jerusalem destroyed, Tehran destroyed, and Baghdad completely obliterated.

2068 Scientists warn the planet will enter into nuclear winter without radical changes to our way of life.

2073 the cities of Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C. are simultaneously attacked by a radical terror group known as playdipia. Using briefcase nukes purchased on the Russian black market.

2074 The rogue agents of Vdiplo are caught trying to infiltrate a Russian science center with plans to build deep space starships. Before the technology is transmitted the transmission is cut off by an unknown source. Only agent brainbomb manages to escape.

Brainbomb and his team of agents have captured a Space-X starship and have escaped Earth’s atmosphere. The group known as the Webdippers, a skilled team of hackers has replaced the real crew of the vessel bound for deep space and a new life.<br>

They were never seen again.

2086 - Living conditions deteriorate on Earth. Life expectancy drops to 56 years.

2091 - Shell Oil fails to establish mining on Europa.

2094(Present)- War breaks out in the Balkans. Serbia launches its first deep space probes to find suitable planets to relocate the Serbian populace.

Turkey has left Earth : financed by Boeing.

Croatia has left Earth : financed by Northrup Grumman.

Bulgaria has left Earth : financed by Halliburton.

Can I be crew member 'Little de Chicken'? Not sure role of a Futurologist in this adventure but hey.

So people are aware I will make an official game thread tuesday. And we will probably make phase shifts around 3pm CDT so we dont compete with mafia phase shifts. Anyone can join the game at any time. There may be a waiting period to jump in the next phase if the situation warrants.

Player Cards

Each player selects a unique role in the colony in addition to being a council member. The order of selection is determined by order you signed up. All characters have a hit point total. All characters can sustain a number of hits before dying. If a councillor dies they may select a new player card. Dead player cards are removed from game. If additional players join - each phase additional characters become available to select. Player cards are taken on a first come - first serve basis.

1) Chief Engineer - (2 hit points.) (Attack +1) (Specials: Each phase may repair 1 damaged building, a damaged ship, or two damaged vehicles.) (Once per phase may instead assist with a building project to complete it 24 hours early)

2) Scientist - (1 hit point) (Attack 0) (Special: Each phase may focus on Research and allow a technology to be fully researched 24 hours early.)

3) Cyborg- (3 hit points) (Attack 2)
(Special: Impervious to Heat/Cold. May be repaired by Engineer if hit points lost. Vulnerable to EMP weapons)

4) Televangelist - (2 hit points) (attack 1)(Special: provides +1 morale to colony)(Each phase may remove 1 corruption from the colony)

5) President - (2 hit points) (Attack - 0) (Special: May veto any legislation)(Provides colony +1 Morale at all times)

6) Commando - (2 hit points) (Attack - 3) (Special: Once per phase may use C4 to blow shit up)(Immune to disease.)

7) Linguist (hit points 1)(Attack 1) (Special: can immediately interpret most sentient languages. And gives a +1 favor bonus to interacting with foreign countries/aliens/factions)

8) Medic (hit points 3) (Attack 0) (Special: can restore 1 lost hit point on one person per phase) (Once per game can restore all lost hit points to all crew and specialists)

9) Hacker (hit points 1) (Attack 1) (Special: provides anti-hack on all security clearances) (once per phase may hack an enemy or friendly - if discovered incurs major penalty to favor)

10) Assassin (hit points 2) (Attack 4)
(Special: Once per game may automatically kill/destroy an enemy faction leader) (You have a negative reputation. -1 colony morale)
