Do Republicans think that Russia is good or bad?
There seems to be debate on the right about whether Russia is to be trusted or not. (The left is uniformly suspicious of Russia). I'm seeing Republican lawmakers being skeptical about Russia, but rightwing media seems fine with them.

Time to repeal and replace McConnell
McConnell has no control of his caucus. He confided to moderates that the medicaid cuts would be so far in the future that they'd never happen, but then conservatives go wind of this and got pissed. Come on, man/turtle -- you got 52 Republicans! Make it happen!

No Chat?
Doesn't removing chat remove diplomacy from the game? How can you form your treaties/alliances if you can't even talk with the other countries?

End Russia Sanctions Now?
Tillerson has already said wrt the election meddling that it is time to move forward. Why not go all out and just get rid of sanctions altogether? At the least, couldn't Trump just turn a blind eye to violations of the sanctions (Magnitsky Act) and return the 2 spy compounds? Who's gonna stop him?

How do you deal with unprovoked verbal violence in a game. I know it isn't against a site rules. But if I mute a player will it mute them in a game thread?

Webdip Conservatives have convinced me my world view is flawed.
I have decided to become a Republican and a Libertarian because the arguments made on this forum have convinced me the Democrat party is no better than the pro-slavery radicals of the 1860's. I have learned that tax cuts for the wealthy, deportations, and putting business and moneymaking ahead of health of US citizenry is paramount

In college my friends used this to get around the fire arms and explosive restrictions in dorms. That razor sharp machete by the door was there to take out intruders and religious solicitors. After all they couldn't be banned since Physical Education fencing class made them legal for practice.

I think the reason for this law is because previously there was a legal conundrum, where you could buy blades over 5&1/2 inches in stores, but then as soon as you tried to take it home you were risking breaking the law... so this isn't really agenda driven, much more fixing previous stupidity.

you know the Texas motto: "we're not evil, just stupid"

Seriously though, has anyone been to a RenFaire? I'd be more worried about swords hurting their owners than anyone else. I thought of that when I saw the guy dressed up as sailor moon, or the guy dressed as gumby.

It is always darkest before the dawn
Given the Don Jr. revelations, this might seem like a bleak time for the Republicans, but if they can wait out the media coverage without breaking rank they will be have saved Trump. There is no larger shoe yet to drop and it will be morning in America again.
