I LOOOOOOOOOVE Saving Private Ryan. I really do. But i think from a film making perspective Deadpool is an achievement in that it completely changed the way we look at superhero movies. Without Deadpool we dont have Logan or any of the future R rated superhero movies. Also the comedy and style is fresh in a genre that has become increasingly stale.

Saving Matt Damon , is in many ways a beautiful film that has some of the best war scenes ever choreographed. This was no easy decision for me but in the end i have to give the vote to Deadpool purely on its impact on an entire genre of movies
