Being a Diplomat
I've finally hoarded enough points to achieve the elusive label of "Diplomat" on my profile again. For some reason though, I'm not really all that thrilled with the "upgrade" from the previous rank.

Soloing without building fleets
I'm curious how often powers can solo without building an additional fleet. I'm also wondering which powers could accomplish this feat. From what I can think of, there are only two powers that could accomplish it, Austria and Russia.

Obama tried same thing as Trump and got blocked
Obama repeatedly tried to give tax breaks for companies that "insource' jobs to the U.S. from overseas while eliminating tax deductions for companies that move jobs abroad.

Game naming trends
Has anyone else noticed the tremendous uptick in Donald Trump themed game names since he won the US presidential election? What do you think of that? Not seeing that many Justin Trudeau themed games.

Is poor satire taking over webDip?
I get notifications all day every day about the latest high quality threads mocking something about 2 hours old with no original twist. These are fast times at webdip high indeed.

Trump to dump Pence after inauguration?
After appointing a Supreme Court justice and a big tax cut, Trump might be replaced by Pence (due to conflict of interest of biz dealings), but what if Trump replaced Pence with a Democrat first? Then Trump is immune from investigation because Pence is no longer there to replace him. Genius?

Way to assume the background of some you know nothing about, Demon. I've actually lived in an Asian country for four years, and I'm actually Asian, so I know far more about the geopolitical situation there. A certain unnamed religious group causes havoc wherever they live, in India, China, Russia, you name it. And I'm sure you're just as happy for them to be in the US and cause more of the same. Your idealism isn't reality.

Yeah you're not Indian buddy, and you're not Pakistani either. Being part of an "Asian" country and irrationally disliking Muslims does not give you any kind of insight into this topic.

Hahaha, what's that about assuming backgrounds? You know DO is Canadian, not American, right?
leon1122 (190 D)

DemonOverlord, are you Indian? I bet you're just an expat living in India who thinks you're liberal worldview is the solution to its problems. Disliking the religion you mentioned is not at all irrational considering considering the terrorism they cause all over the world in Xinjiang, Chechnya, Mindanao, and elsewhere.

Lol, I'm Canadian born but with Indian descent and I've lived in Mumbai for a while and I visit quite frequently. So yeah, I'm quite Indian and not an expat kek. Way to assume the background of someone you know nothing about, leon1122 ;)

I do know several Muslim females, and they tend to be whiny and irresponsible. I also know several Pakistani males, and though I don't know whether they're Muslim, they seem to be alright people, but nevertheless, the fact remains that even if they are Muslim, there are lots more of them than in other populations who are terrorists, even more so globally.

@DO

he's not being racist or sexist yet. for all you know the woman he meant WERE whiny and irresponsible, and statistically speaking there are more likely to be Islamic based terrorists.

he's getting there tho give him time

Durga (3609 D)

I think what is moreso likely than the Muslim women he met being "whiny and irresponsible", is that leon just views women more often than not as whiny and irresponsible, because naturally, that is what women are. Amirite leon?
JamesYanik (548 D)

@DO

"that is what women are"

that is a sexist assumption to make about women, and you DARE accuse leon of such travesties. you are a true bigot good sir

I've come up with a great idea to revitalize the site and expand the fanbase.
It's called Webdip The Musical. It would be much more interesting than adding new maps or new features and might also allow people to rant about their political opinions in a way that's easier to ignore. I have contacted the mods and several have agreed to donate glitter.

Another potential idea is mafia the musical.
