@ Nikola. I respect your obvious expertise and experience at Diplomacy. So I looked at your past games to look at your wins with Italy. My first observation is that you play almost exclusively no press, or gunboat style games. Which I very rarely play, I play mostly full press games. So unable to find in the most recent four or so pages of your previous games a full press game where you win with Italy, I had a look at a win in a no press game.
All I can see in that game strategy is a basic attack Austria, and a very good campaign that captures all of the Balkans, France obligingly fights England and gives Italy plenty of time, and you simply push out into Southern Russia, into Germany and move rapidly West to attack France.
So I did note the consistent building of armies, but saw little else that I haven't seen before.
So my question is, do you have a good example of one of your previous games that is full press not a 5 minute live type game, etc, where you win with Italy playing a more complex strategy that illustrates what CS described as the influencing if the two ART & EFG "theatres of action " and where there are several changes alliances etc ? Those are the games I want to study to learn from
