BOG was banned because "he" was actually a new account created by someone who had previously been banned for having multiple accounts. It was nothing to do with him being an ass on the forum.

From a more boring technical perspective; We tried to change the locking approach but that just made things worse. We've not trimmer down some non-crucial data while we figure out a long term solution, which may involve carefully evaluated server upgrades at a sustainable cost;.. The team are still working through the option so we can be sure every donated cent is used to its fullest while maintaining stability;

I cannot understand why people cheat in webdip, or amatuer athletics.
My sister is a mad keen mature age triathlon competitor, an amatuer, and she told me an incredible story about two twin sisters who got busted for cheating. One would enter and they would do these elaborate swaps. The logistics and costs of their caper would have been considerable, and all for an amatuer age group medal. Go figure that behaviour. Given that all behaviours schave meaning and can be understood.
