What kind of site to create?

I'm going to create a site for school, and ideally it's about something useful, ideally even potentially profitable, or at least breaking me even if I decide to actually get it hosted. Any idea's on what to make it about? Anyone wants a site made by me maybe? I'm just clueless.

I think there's elements of disequilibrium:

Pools A, B and G seem too high level on first sight, compared to E(, F) and H, for example.

Group D seems somewhat mood-sensitive. If the Italians find the right coffee bars in Brasil and the English fail to find the right pubs, then it will be violent.

The two toughest groups by far are B & G.

I don't think group A is as tough, because Croatia has been spotty and Mexico was lucky to even make it into the cup. While Cameroon is the worst African team to get in.

Argentina thinks they got an easy group. But Bosnia & Nigeria can play.

Putin - while I think Chile and Australia are good teams that stand a chance in other groups, I don't think they have a shot against Netherlands or Spain

Remember not just to look at who'll get through, but also which groups it's important to win in order to avoid the top from another group. For example, it doesn't matter whether you come 1st or 2nd in your group if you're then playing the Netherlands or Spain, but you'd definitely much rather play Mexico than Brazil.

Chile played Spain in 2010 and gave them a world of trouble. They are an attack minded team that has plenty of depth. I think they will pose a lot of problems.

The Soccerros are a basketcase at the moment. I agree with you about them.

Nigeria can be a great team, but they're wildly inconsistent and undisciplined. If they decide to play together they could take 2nd, but they won't trouble Argentina, who will cruise through the group.

In an earlier discussion of possible WC scenarios, we discussed the likelihood of an African team making the semis. At the time, I said it was likely and that Ghana would be the team to do it, given their defensive abilities. Apparently the football gods didn't like that prediction. But I still think Africa will finally be represented in the semis. Cote d'Ivoire got a really favorable draw and can put up goals against anyone.

People are forgetting Bosnia has Dzeko. This team is very good. They only barely missed out in making the Euro Cup 2012 and the last world cup. Nigeria meanwhile are African champions this time. If Argentina thinks they will breeze through they are in for a surprise.

Until now I got tickets for Netherlands x Australia. Still hope to get tickets for Argentina x Nigeria and for a round of 16 game (first of G, probably Germany, against second of H).

Wal-Mart Tasering Class Action Lawsuit

I saw a commercial from a legal firm looking for people that have been tasered by Wal-Mart security. After the incident on Black Friday it's about time that it happened. Depending upon the victim's health a taser can cause heart attacks and fracture bones especially since this "safe" weapon gets used multiple times.

Yes, it's seemingly old news, we've all known it's coming, but there's no reason we shouldn't offer a little respect to, literally, one of the greatest and most respected figures in human history. Tough to swallow.
