Does anyone here play Eve online?
I've played the trial and love it but I don't want to be alone. Was wondering if anyone played it here.

Standard WTA 36 hour phase Game
So after a live game tonight ( gameID=130059 ) - some of us decided to go for a full length game as we quite enjoyed it.

The two early quitters obviously weren't invited. Not sure if two of the other five of us want to join or not.

How do you report evidence of eating?
I was in a restaurant today and two people walked in within one minute of each other. They proceeded to order, wait for their food, and then chew erratically. Needless to say, one of them finished before me.

How do you report evidence of cheating?
I was in a game today (gameID=130191) in which the users playing both Russia and Austria played extremely erratically. Both users created accounts this afternoon, within one minute of each other. Needless to say, Turkey won. Seems to be clear evidence of cheating using multiple accounts. How can I report this?

Across Australia people have been celebrating the 10 year anniversary of coming a close second in the 2003 Rugby Union World Cup. Celebrated pundits from across the globe agree it was the finest runner-up performance ever witnessed in the sport. Well done you!

In other news the Australian rugby league team are in the UK hoping to match that proud achievement. We wish them well.

That is all.

Thanks for the concern Octavious. Care to discuss your first innings?

Good luck filling up the fleet when the Scots leave the union next year. All that North Sea oil shall bid you fare'the'well.

How's your banking sector working out for you?
Putin33 (111 D)

Yes that 136 on a good pitch for batting was quite embarrassing.

1st innings? 136on a good pitch? What kind of eldritch minority sport are you referring to? I haven't got the foggiest idea what you're on about.

Besides which we always score less than 200 in the first innings these days to give Australia a chance, and it's thunderstorms on Sunday and you can't play cricket in a thunderstorm, and even this lot can manage to bat out a day if they really need to, and... erm...

Please, God, let it rain on Sunday!

(As far as the banks go, they seem to be on track again and it'll be at least a generation before they forget the lessons learned from the almighty cock-up. As far as oil goes, Scotland won't vote for independence. If it does, and I confess to being no expert in how this works, I guess I go to Aberdeen with my Scottish passport and get my oil allowance for the year from Alec and his SNP posse)

Even then 546 with 8 wickets remaining.

Besides that, a quick analysis of the weather forecast shows that its likely only going to rain in the morning, and by morning I mean till 8am.

POP is sitting at 10-30% for each hour cricket is in session, so I'll take the high probability and assume Australia win this by a good 200+ runs.

Days ends with 537 to win, 8 wickets remaining.

I suspect you're right. England started the test well but we've been suspect with the bat for a few years now, and it shows. We're also no used to seeing quality fast bowling these days, and that very much shows.

Still, it will be an experience that can be learned from. I suspect the England that emerges in the 2nd test will be far harder to get out. The Aussies aren't all that great themselves, so it's set up to be a smashing series :).

England have three more chances to win tests. I think the likelihood is for a series draw, but it's all to play for!

Agreed Octavious, I remember the good ol days when the ashes were exciting paritally because England and Australia were the worlds 2 best teams.

Now South Africa, India and Pakistan are easily better then both teams.

@ Nigs

Seriously, have you watched England at all in the past few years? We can't bat for toffee. The only reason we managed to get vaguely respectable scores in the last Ashes was that Bell was on form. This was a particularly naff performance, but sadly predictable.

The next test will be the measure of how the series will go. I am hoping for a spirited fightback. If we can swing momentum back in our direction we might even get a draw at the Waca! (Although that is wildly optimistic)

To Train Up A Child
Heard of this book? Its methods evidently have led to the deaths of 3 children, one which recently led to a conviction of the two parents involved. Should it be banned? Should the ministry which profits off it be shut down?

What to do when you are Ally Locked?
So I'm playing this game (one of my current 9), where I am completely surrounded by GOOD allies. People I have talked into turning their backs to me and leaving their pants down. It would be impossible to advance in any direction without violating a DMZ or 100% backstabbing someone.
