Blankflag manipulated the sites code to maliciously get around the intent of the site creator, has obi done that? How about refusing to follow moderator warnings, blankflag did that at least 5 times, how about obi? How about admitting their posting was intended to be spam...lets see, can't recall obi doing that, blankflag on the other hand has. Didn't I read somewhere or other that he was banned for, amongst other things, alleged homophobia? A yes or no on that would be nice, just for the sake of clarity. If the annswer is yes then we might then go on to work out who made that judgement and how it fits in with the rule book.

No. He was banned for working around a silence, after he had been warned that he would be banned if he did so again.

Whilst he was a pain in the proverbials on the forum, he played a part of the community of gunboaters. Whilst he was shockingly bad at the game, he does seem (from my brief glance at his page) to have played with a fight to the end attitude and was decent enough to take over from non starters on a few occasions.

Hydro you mistake what happened. The site was hacked in a sense, as he used a HTML exploit to bypass the silence and access #postbox directly.

If you call that hacking, okay. If he were, say, a spambot, however, it wouldn't even notice the silence I believe. It's kinda in-between I think.

Even my desire to defend blankflag has worn thin since he hacked the site. I invested in him, and put my self on the line by undertaking his responsibility, and he shit all over it by that action.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending Blankflag, far be that from me.

He's the only one I know of to ever be silenced for a period of time more than a week. No one else would even bother.
