Nope, there are four possible outcomes:

Town and 3rd Party win
Town wins alone
Mafia and 3rd Party win
Mafia wins alone

There is no scenario I can see where lynching the 3rd party is beneficial to town.

This is one of the more town statements xorxes has made.

I do not understand why people seem hyper-focused on getting rid of the survivor. Town should want him around to soak up a NK from scum...

Who is hyper-focussed on that? Absolutely no-one. Rather weird statement. Who is doing that worcej?

Point of clarification. A challenge will need to be sent to me and Darg, at the latest, ten minutes prior to the end of the phase or before the end of the first 24 hour mark. If for some reason we aren't on at the end of the first 24 hour mark to adjudicate it would occur as soon as we are. One of us will always be on at least ten minutes prior to EOD (48 hour).

Does this mean scum can just push an extra lynch through if they coordinate to be online 23hours and 50 minutes into the day?

CALL GM: Will a last minute gladiate be resolved 10 minutes later, at the 24 hour mark? (if it is being submitted 10 minutes before the end of the first 24 hour mark that is.)

Like I just said it needs to be sent in at least ten minutes prior. I can guarantee we will be online ten minutes before EOD. I can't guarantee we will be on ten minutes prior to hour 24. If someone sends something in ten minutes prior to hour 24 and neither of us are on it would take place between hours 24-48 instead. So, best to submit them early so we have the proper time to announce them. .

So why is this a problem when Chaqa does it, but youre totally fine when Damo does it? While Damo is also much more quiet and timid as scum, plenty of times.

Damo knows hes an easy townread when town. He's also fairly often pretty obvious as scum. If he has an important scum PR, isnt this exactly how youd expect damo to act as well?

I am not totally fine with Damo doing it, he isn't obvtown like in other games, but like you said he is also usually obvscum.
You might have some reason about scum PR, but the same can be said for town PR or even third party.

Damo was only ever obv!scum when he posted his stolen readslist from people's other reads.

From my memory, the other times he was scum he lurked and blamed RL stuff.

Explain what? You are the one who needs to explain why a 3rd party claim is a reason to vote for me, given that the 3rd party is not a threat to town (and indeed it can be helpful to town).

Damo, have you read the setup? Third party win with both town or scum. He has no real power, unless someone target him. I think he will probably prefer to have scum on the lead (scum can't kill him), but he will claim if under the risk of a lynch or will be exposed on a challenge. Anyway, I don't think hunting for 3 party is good for town as he can be a Jail or NK target. Scum have a lot more interest in exposing him and that's what make Xorxes scummy.

I was too lazy in reading set up and just assumed 3rd party would win alone if surviving, I didn't realise win would be shared. My bad.

However in careful reading I'm surprised nobody has queried the apparent error. What is Proximo granted if bet successful? Further NK immunity? It doesnt actually say.

I'm not strongly scumreading anyone yet. Despite the recent 3rd party explanations I am reasonably happy with my vote on Xorxes.

The wagon on Chaqa is silly.

The wagon on me I can understand but now I'm here I assume will dissipate.

I could switch to any of the lurkier players.

@damo: it is in your best interest to side with town as the emperor can get rid of you on a potential showdown. Just keep it in mind when making voting decisions.

I think I may have misread what he posted. I was understanding his post as he thought the win con was separate from rest of town so eh hadn't claimed. But looking at it closer he never says he is survivor.

Last two games we were teammates, first as scum, then as town. Last game we immediately recognized each other as fellow town PRs and gelled very well together. I think you generally respect my game enough not to throw a vote for me without understandiung what you're doing.
