I do. Mostly to improve my knowledge of French (I work for a company that has a subsidiary in France). I’ve been learning French with a tutor at https://eurekly.com/subject/french for a couple of months already and now I feel more confident when I have to speak with my French colleagues or to translate their letters. So in my case it works.

I am learning calculus with Khan Academy. Relearning in some spots, picking up where I haphazardly left off in others.

Yes.

I am learning Dutch using Duolingo.

For Continuing Professional Development I use LinkedIn Learning (was Lynda.com) and some online courses that I buy through one of my professional bodies.

...
Why on earth would you do that? It's such a useless language. We all speak English quite well. In fact: https://www.babbel.com/en/magazine/best ... countries/

Duolingo for me too - Italian and Hungarian mainly but some other dabbling - love it!

I have in the past studied a Machine Learning course on Coursera - free course from Stanford University.

You do, which makes it quite hard to get any practice, and their are occasions when speaking better Dutch would be useful.

Indeed so, like when you want to say something rude about the French people on the table next to you, but there's too high a probability that they speak English.
