So, seems we will need two games because I refuse to participate in a game people didn't accept GM authority.
If GM request me to say here that I would not try a tactic that isn't allowed or any tactic that make the game less enjoyable for everybody around I would happily do it. Refusing to do it just shows that him doesn't respect GMs and the other players and thinks any tactic is valid even if it hurts the game spirit.

There are a lot of different views, obviously, on 'what chippe did 'wrong.' I have stated mine repeatedly, and have not read anything to push me away. Chippe has no respect for the 'office' of GM. This is asking for trouble in a game like this. We all implicity agree to support the GM. The entire set of rules is based on this premise. We don't have a council, so the GM is the authority. NOT only when we agree with a GM's ruling. Of course, disagreements arise. But IN the game, he has displayed an attitude of: "I will follow if and only if I agree with the GM." I also (while I don't like to reveal private message content publicly) asked him to agree to follow the GM in game. He refused. I asked again. He ignored.

This has nothing to do with playstyle or personality.

(Our present system requires our support of the GM in the game. Obv, if the GM is off-the-wall, we make adjustments as a community OR with the stepping in of site Mods. We hate it when it comes to that.)

So I, in this case, even in the limbo of sign-ups, agree to follow the GM.

I agree to abide by the rules.

All players should post this.

If Chips does likewise he should then play.

That way everyone is treated equally.

No, everybody need to agre not only to abide by the rules but also to abide to GMs requests as he is the authority in applying the rules. I didn't like many of Worcej calls last game but respected all of them.

inquiring minds wonder why a game starts on a tues night. the sun night starts were the best games back in the M15-M22 era

I think excluding someone who hasn’t broken any rules is extremely rude, is all. I never liked how Maniac or brainbomb played, but you never saw me exclude them from my games. I’m pretty sure, had I done so, there would have been a riot or something. It’s actually really shameful that everyone is okay to exclude a player because they don’t like him

Isn’t stuff like this what the council was here to sort out?

Because I am special. I don't fly back to the US until Monday evening (I am in Burma at the moment). Then again if you can take the following as my two first D1 posts start earlier:

- "The tradition continues. ##VOTE Brainbomb"

- A witty post suggesting I am either the doctor, watcher, cop or vig so that mafia will try and NK me (TBD).

You said that you weren't involved in last game. You're more than allowed to have an opinion on the matter, but you're not coming from an informed perspective until you read D1 and D2 of the game and all of the god thread. You're reading everyone else's summary and recollection of it.

Again, feel free to weigh in... but just remember that you haven't come to your own decision by reading the source material.

This can apply to everyone else with a strong opinion on the matter who wasn't involved last game. Keep your perspective in mind when you're throwing around suggestions.
