We have a new number one, folks! I won't spoil the surprise, but congratulations to our new champion.

Many apologies for the several month gap.

Back from almost a 3 year hiatus. Good to see alot of the old friends and enemies still populating the list.

Speaking of retired folk, did Ghostie himself make an appearance earlier or was it my imagination?

He’s currently playing games. So yes

If this is relatively simple, I’m all about sitting around pounding square pegs in round holes, maybe ghug could show me how to do it. I don’t plan to play any press games in 2019, so I could volunteer a few hours each month to do this, assuming it doesn’t require any special site powers, and maybe it could even be viewed as some sort of penance / community service by the powers that be.

Turns out, if you pound square pegs hard enough, they do fit in round holes.

The process is basically:
1. Someone generates the data dump on the server.
2. Download said data dump, clean it up a little, and run a bunch of scripts.
3. Upload to Google docs and edit the tournament website.

Step one could probably be fully automated, but right now requires an admin.
Step two I've mostly automated. Still requires mucking with the dump for 1v1 and basic familiarity with doing things from a command line. My automation also won't work on Windows.
Step three is theoretically automatable, but the Google docs API is a nightmare.

That’s definitely beyond my current skill set, but I’d be willing to give it a go, and I’d be willing to fill the role for a long time, so the up front cost may be worthwhile, though also certainly debatable...
