Sorounded by enemies

#1 Post by [email protected] » Tue Sep 25, 2018 2:11 pm

well, in one of my games (I'm rome in an ancient Mediterranean) I'm in a close batlle against an equal power in the south (carthege), and a power in the east (greece) seems to be stabing. sure, egypt (that just went out of a civil war) and persia are on my side, but thoose are far away and one of them weak by an NMR. do i have a chance? can i do anything to make that chance higher?

Try shifting the dynamics of the game into your favor. If Greece is set on attacking you, make it you and Persia versus Greece, while Carthage and Egypt are entangled. The key to Ancient Med is to get a 2 on 1 scenario while the other two are locked in a fight. Right now you are on the wrong end of the 2 on 1.

Of course, if you can make peace with Greece, that would probably be best.
