In any scenario in which a player loses their item, they are told they no longer have it - but not how this occurred.

The first night that a person who is Sticky! is targeted by another player (or players), any item-based action(s) that the visiting player(s) may be attempting to carry out on the target will fail. Any items the visiting player(s) are carrying will stick to the Sticky! player.

After that, the sticky coating wears off.
