OK. I still think if you were serious about your offer you should have asked me to tell you which role of your teammates I needed killed and let me take care of the townie myself. That would not have required us to exchange any secret messages. I can't really think of any other reason that your kill would fail though, unless it's something like you forgot to enter the orders.
