How the hell did the autumn nations cup groups get divided up into England, Ireland, and Wales in one, and France and feck all in the other?!?

Has France been practicing social distancing to keep away from us? Less travel might make sense...

As their group contains Scotland, Fiji, and Italy, it seems that a fear of travel wasn't high on their priority list. They just happened to be landed with (keeping disrespect to Scottish Rugby to the bare minimum) a cake walk whilst England Ireland and Wales found themselves up against two title contenders and a Georgia.

In fairness no one is treating the tournament as much more than a set of autumn internationals and glorified friendlies, but even so an attempt at balance would have been nice.
