Join me in the thread as we save America from communism by voting Republican.

Tonight we save America from the mob and Communists. Support Mr. President Trump and the Union. Vote to Keep America Great.

Hold the House and grow our lead in Senate. We got this. 8-)

Oh you don't get me I'm part of the union
You don't get me I'm part of the union
You don't get me I'm part of the union
Till the day I die, till the day I die.

Speaking of Communists, shouldn't there be a Democrat anti-Trump emerging by now? I've seen a surprisingly old looking Obama campaigning, and I've heard Mrs Clinton making a few incoherent croaks from the sidelines, but I've not seen much in the way of a king over the water.

This is the problem with the democrats - they don't foster younger people (meaning people under 70). All the best roles/positions go to people who have been there the longest. Why is Pelosi still there (age: 78)...or why did Chuck Schumer (age: 67, still a baby) just become the democratic lead in the Senate? The democrats are still considering Biden (age: 75), Elizabeth Warren (age: 69) and Bernie Sanders (age: 77) as serious contenders for the democrats 2020 presidential nominee. Oh, and Clinton is 71.

Flash made a good point there. The Democrats are basically a party of old people (so are some of the Republicans, but they do have or had some young faces).

I'm going to ignore the naysayers (Jamie) and focus on the positive. Basically how the Republicans are going to win, win, win, and defeat the Cult of Communism, Antifa, and Democratic Party tonight.

As Flash said, the Democrats have some potential party leaders and Presidential candidates but they are all getting close to 80 and are uninspiring and horrible people.

At least we hold the Senate. I can't believe anyone would vote for a Democrat though.

You think the US should be a one-party state, and somehow I am the cultist?

Okay.

I voted for people of every party designation the state of Oklahoma has (Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Independent), but the only people that I voted for that won were Republicans.

Cheers to losing the house and spinning tonight as a win because of damage control.

Trump got what he needed with a greater Republican majority in the Senate to protect him against an impeachment conviction.

Trump then fired Sessions and his temporary replacement is an uncharged white collar criminal in the Trump mold:

Wider Senate majority also means not having to worry as much about SCOTUS confirmations.

What hasn't been brought up:

The results of this week's news are first and foremost a win for legal marijuana. For those who haven't heard of it, the STATES Act, which would leave the issue exclusively up to the many states by stating that the legal status of weed would be recognized by the Federal government so long as state law was being followed, has wide bipartisan support in the Senate. However, the House Republican Caucus did not have majority support for it, so Paul Ryan said he wouldn't put it on the floor if it hit the House, so Mitch McConnell said there was no reason to put it on the Senate Floor either. A Democratic House would more likely pass the STATES Act, so the Senate is more likely to hear it (and obviously easily pass it). And also Trump has already agreed to signing it. Plus Sessions is gone?? Weed wins.

I'm learning to appreciate ND as some sort of esoteric performance art.
