Exactly what it says on the title!

Essentially, it's an anon gunboat game, but all press is conducted in a forum thread. No-one knows who exactly is in the game - except for yourself if you are actually in the game, and anyone can conduct press on behalf on any country by just dropping in and posting.

You can pretend to be England as Russia and Germany, you can be a random spectator playing as France, you can be the actual France player and completely silent - the possibilities for chaotic shenanigans are endless.

Do we have enough people interested in this for it to properly take off? If we have more than 7 people, I'll make the game thread and game at a set time - who actually is in the game will be first come, first serve based on who sees the link and joins.

For specifics, I was thinking of:

• 5 points bet

• Unranked

• Hidden draw votes

• 3 day phases

• 1 excused turn

• RR 50%

but if anyone has other suggestions do please say.

If there is enough interest by then, I was thinking I'll put up the thread and game on June 1st.

Consider me interested. I would maybe consider bumping the RR requirement up a little. Last thing the game needs is an NMR.

I support increasing the RR. You can use the average reliability value of this thread's respondents or something (since this certainly won't hurt me of all people).

Well, part of it is, if I set the RR too high, it means people can eliminate certain players from being in the game even if they do send press, from checking their profile.

But bumping it up to 60 is no issue.

Very good point! Just keep it low RR, but make sure you trust the players, that you allow to join, to submit orders.

Ah, but that wouldn't quite work would it? Password protected limits the pool of players by quite a bit, and I was thinking this could be something that anyone could drop in and drop out of at any time, press-wise.

Although, with further though, two day phases may be better - since it'd be the same as a day phase in mafia.

In addition, that way if someone NMRs the delay won't be quite as long.

Do you want people dropping on and out on the game or on the thread? I don't get why you can't choose anonymously the seven real players and anyone posts in the game thread.

So, I think we have 8 Players interested! There is a potential for more interested players to join this game as dummies.

If we set up someone neutral as an arbitrator, we can have that neutral individual randomly choose who is going to be included as each country. Or rather yet, who is going to be the dummy country, since the country choice will be random.

Each of the playing individuals will have the option to be the dummy country. Only the arbitrator will know who is the dummy country.

Each player, before the anonymity of the game is defeated, should make a vote trying the figure out who is which country. Including the dummy account. It would be interesting how many of us turned out to be correct!
Also, Does the forum contain all communications? Or can we individually send messages to each of the possibly players, trying to figure out who is who and who is the dummy country?
