If you (1) are July2019 Gunboat Ranked 175-275, (2) have an RR of 98% or more, and (3) have completed 15 gunboat games on the site...

I'm inviting you to join a Modern Gunboat. It will be semi-anon (anon but you know who the 10 players are), 24 hour phases, DSS, Hidden Draw Votes, 1 excused missed-turn, 30D to join.

FYI, the RR requirements now are much different than the old system. A 98% requirement means you've basically never missed a phase, which is super unlikely.

98% is indeed a bit ambitious. I'd advise 70 or 80%. That's people who have practically never missed a phase.

So far, we have 3 invited players who have agreed to play a Modern Gunboat, plus 3 others who may be interested in a Classic game but not Modern. If we don't get 10 for Modern, we'll look at doing a Classic game instead.

Out of 101 players with Gunboat Rankings of 175-275 inclusive, only 22 meet the 98% RR and 15 game minimum requirements. We'll see how many respond.

I will say that I find it very interesting playing with others of similar Gunboat rank. Good players but no Super-Killers, no Noobs and no NMRs in the first game I tried. A lot of fun.

Due to only a few folks interested in a Modern Gunboat, we are changing it to Classic - same setup - semi-anon (anon but you know who is playing), DSS, HDV,30D, 1 excused missed turn

@Chaqa - Of the 22 who have the 98% RR, 16 have visited the site in the last day or so. Not enough interest in Modern it seems, but maybe we can get 7 for a Classic Gunboat.

I'll be out then. Modern sounded fun, but I don't want to do just a regular game.
