Hey there,

New player playing as turkey.

Russia currently holds Rumania with one unit.

I was in a position to take Rumania by moving one unit into the territory and then supporting the attack with another nearby unit (That borders Rumania).

However, once the move phase was finished, I saw that my attack didn't go through. I check the orders and sure enough he hadn't even moved the previous turn, but I still lost.

Can someone explain what happened?

Orders:
TURKEY
The fleet at Black Sea hold.
The army at Smyrna move to Constantinople. (fail)
The army at Constantinople move to Rumania via convoy. (fail)
The army at Bulgaria move to Greece.
The army at Serbia support move to Rumania from Constantinople.

RUSSIA
The army at Livonia hold.
The fleet at Sevastopol hold.
The army at Warsaw hold.
The fleet at Gulf of Bothnia hold.
The army at Rumania hold.

AUSTRIA (for proof that he didn't assist)
The army at Budapest move to Trieste.
The army at Vienna support move to Trieste from Budapest.

When convoying an army, you need to order the army to move and the fleet to convoy. Since Black Sea was ordered to hold, the convoy failed

Constantinople does not border Rumania, Bulgaria is in the way, however, the option to move to Rumania was there because you could use the fleet in Black Sea to convoy the unit in Constantinople to Rumania. Serbia can support that move since it touches Rumania, which was executed. The order you needed to change for it to work how you wanted would have been: Fleet @ Black Sea Convoy an army to Rumania from Constantinople
