Welcome to the site! The easiest way to find new games is to press the 'Games'-link at the top. You are faced with a bunch of selection criteria. It's most important to tick the ones before 'Access type: Public', 'Active' and 'Pre-Game'.

That should yield a bunch of games that are available to join! Are you familiar with the game already? I can help you narrow it down to the game you might like most.

OK, thanks! I'll give it a shot!

Yes I am familiar with the game we play at my school a lot. I can beat most of my teachers.

Looks like most of the existing games aren't very newbie friendly. Hope noone minds if I create a game.

The first game I ever joined (it was only a few months, but still) was a self-created game. The new game tab is kind of like a buffet: take as much as you want and you can be picky.
