Re: Tiny Hunt I Game Thread

Im surprised that brainbomb isnt in this game lol. Finally a setup where it might really pay off to fakeclaim in a sweet spot to try and get witches to soup your ass and fail.

A very important thing to take into account: Every witchkill is pretty much a janitor kill, in that they do know what they killed so they'll be free to fakeclaim any role that is dead. Because of this, im not so sure if Ezio's suggestion is a good one since the visits become public knowledge (while it is those things that can confirm real townies to eachother).

Ill do some more thinking about it

Basically what I mean is: In an endgame scenario, only the actual clown should be the one that knows who he visited, since people get a msg if they get a pie in their face. That way its easily confirmable that he is actually the clown.

In much the same way, the oracle is going to be able to verify a lot of claims from real town, since he knows who he visited in a certain night, and when he actually got the proc of another visit on that person.

not usefull yet, but itll be very good information in the end to help find the last witch

Also, dont forget, we dont actually need the oracle to tell us how many witches are dead.

As long as people arent claiming, the vigilante will tell us how were doing. If theres a 2nd kill on N2 we know we lynched 2 town. If there isnt, we know theres at least a witch, and we can deduce whether the witch died on D1 or D2.

Ofcourse this stops working if we lynch the vig :)

I think Acolyte should give us a 5-6 names not including the priest, so we can have a suspect list for D1
Wouldn't this let the witches know who the acolyte is?
But also gives us a great chance. Prevents us from mislynching priest.
I'm still behind my idea. Also Acolyte isn't an actively contributing player, that's best they can do. Or they may give that pool to us at D2 so angels can protect them.
Acolyte is definitely an important player. Priest gets more info than any other town, and having the acolyte alive and able to sheep him is valuable. If he reveals himself, the witches soup is on top of their NK. So acolyte would be kamikazeing to let us know that. Definitely not worth it.

soup is instead of a nk though. it might not be a bad idea. Ofcourse it becomes a worse idea since we might need some claiming at the lynch, which results in a double kill...but meh

Yav stop it. Your idea is bad. We should just not lynch our cop D1.

Here me out, it's a crazy idea - a little like yav's, but I support a no lynch on D1 and hope the Judge also doesn't do their action. With the fact that no role is revealed upon death, we will have no idea who we actually have hit and the village gains no information other than speculation.

By putting the death into the witch's hands, you know 99% chance a village was killed (if they go for the kill) and we can begin to deduce who/what was hurt. The witches could also actively go for Soup instead, which is valuable for them but also at a cost, and any information revealed could help clear villagers.

Nah, we have two good ways to find out if we did lynch a witch. No lynch is bad as always

I think no-lynch isn't great, specially if we agree on it because it will just make harder to read people and we will just give the power to the judge that could agree or not with the no-lynch.
Also, what happens after D1 if the Judge is lynched/nked? We need to reach majority or there would be no-lynch?

But worcej, the most helpful information we can get from people on D1 is their honest preference for which player they'd like lynched over the course of the day. And the witches don't know the role of anyone that gets lynched beyond anything that will undoubtedly be claimed during EOD, they just know whether villager or witch is lynched. So lynching is a must since witches have far more information over their night kills than our lynches, even if we mislynch. And lynched townies in the angel thread will have an advantage over witches compared to nightkilled townies by not having their role known by the witches.
