Does hypo mean a few people claim a role, or does it mean fake-claiming to save the real role owner. U thought it was the second one but your messages felt like it's the first one.

@Teacher2 - I love the theory... but I feel it has one potentially fatal flaw...

Namely, how do we trust the tracker claim?

I think the tracker may need to find something useful first...

@Yav - was your question directed to teacher? either way Hypoclaiming means deciding as a group that everyone will pretend to be a specific role and will give a report of what they did the previous night at the start of every day.

@DrCJG - We trust it by the lack of a counterclaim. It is well worth it to trade a tracker for a scum, even on D1. So if two claim, lynch one and (if necessary) the other.

That said, Im not as enamoured of my theory as I was, because I missed that scum don’t need to RB the tracker while the ninja is alive. I think it should still be discussed, and Im still slightly inclined in favor, but as that realization shows, I haven’t played it entirely out other than the known!town aspect.

Finally, it bears noting that the same logic and strategy could be put into place D2 (or possibly D3). So can discuss that as well. Indeed, Im inclined a bit to go to D2 or D3 rather than today.

@Teacher - This is more or less what I was trying to say about the hypos. Don't see the benefit of doing it and we pregnant can't have everybody to claim witch will introduce even more confusion.

About your idea, I have an opinion and it's a NO, but I will let other people, specially the newbies answer first.

Sorry if this has already been answered, but is the peterbot not picking up the thread?

I think everyone should make a hypo-claim for what they would do as every role (including the scum roles and Serial Killer), and then Teacher is in charge of making a chart and drawing conclusions, and if he fails to produce proof of scum, we lynch him.

GFY.

Funny story from my soon to be old job (lawyer). We review lots of emails. One of them had GFY at the end. My boss thought that meant good for you. It didnt.....

Or was it DrCJG's idea? Oh well, even if it was, we should still lynch Teacher after that outburst.

A little defensive, are we??? ;)

This would be helpful, already Im having issues ISOing people. If its not going up, please let us know so that I can save ISO links.

Since the hypo and actual claim discussion has hopefully pushed us out of RVS, can a WebDip mafia veteran tell me if Brain shitposts like that always? I enjoyed it, but dont have a baseline for him (or Vecna), and dont trust myself to read meta of games I didnt play.

No, he doesn't.

It's usually much worse.

That is acceptable. I mean, you should probably have some ham and a nice honey mustard on there, too. But it is sufficient for me to declare that you are definitely not mafia. However, you might be the Serial Killer. If you had said cheddar, that would have town cleared you.
