I am back and I am curious to hear some others comment on Xy4's arguments for voting me and response to the pressure put on him... I think it may come off a little more new player than scum....

Welp, review concluded, albeit without context. That was short. The "I'm Spartacus" thing I didn't understand earlier I now take to be in reference to the hypo idea. There are a couple things that even kind of make me understand where you're coming from.

That said, I don't agree. I would expect a PR to be hunting (just, hunting for good scans or possible NKs), which is a thing that damo is not doing.

FYI, reacting by promising reading may help scum PR hunt, but may also be good ways to throw the scent.

I'll make my theory even more explicit - I cant come up with any other explanation at all for the doc hypo request AND the defensiveness to one vote combined. I dont see the doc hypoing as scum, but I do see it as a newb doc who wants cover.

Finally, though that is my theory, Im going to defer to the wisdom of the crowd and not try to block his lynch from going through. I agree he has been scummy. I just see him as a busy newb PR who does not quite get the game, but those may be my own biases coming into play.

I will ensure some lynch goes through, so will jump to XY if there is a tie between wagons. Otherwise Im staying on Bancroft.

I see the doc hypoing as wrong. Not really wrong scum, not wrong town, not wrong doc. Just wrong, inexperienced, taking ideas to their illogical conclusions.

I would also add that I would gladly take 2/3 of a scum over 1/3 of a doc, and I think damo is at least as scummy as he is docy, and there's more scum than there is doc.
A doc is great to have, but is highly unlikely to get us even one extra day, because of the way the math works out. A saved townie can be confirmed by lack of counterclaim, which is nice, but it relies on the doc making a good guess. Meanwhile, getting a scum lets us analyze behavior and gives us one extra day.

Fair enough. You may even be right, but I got to play my read. I think we get each other's positions. Now Im just going to keep hitting that round circle to make sure that nobody can tie the wagons..... The most important point is that one lynch go through.

In rereading, I remember finding Damo's first post about preferring Dr Fake odd... but I had read his follow up as just being new... still I can at least see where you are coming from and its unfortunate as I had considered leaving the Xy4 wagon for Damo...

@ Teacher - what is your opinion of Xy4's response to pressure?

Im still on mobile Dr so no detail, but I lijked that he went Damo rather than Bancroft. I like XY more than Bancroft. There's a reason Im voting. But tbh, Id rather XY than Damo just my entire theories could be crackpot too.

I tend to think there may be merit in your claim even if your theory is a little crackpot. So I will keep my vote here and also look to avoid a tie.

I have posted them for awhile. I still stand by my damo vote and hope my read is right. My initial read of him just got more and more 'ammo' to justify it as we went along.
