@Ike, if you are town, you need to do this in the final 10 seconds of the phase. Prepare the post, make it long. Put your claim some place in the middle or end of the post so that scum cannot find it quickly and react to it.

I will do my best (as always) to end the phases at the most accurate time possible. Given our difficulties recently with the forum, I can make no promises - however I try to do my best.

You should list your past targets at night if you're claiming cop. I'm not sure I agree with Balki on not listing the current one as well.

As for the doc, there's a small chance it's confirmable he's lying if he is scum and he claims his current target because he either has to:
a) list scum's actual target, gambling on the doc successfully saving and being outed if the kill goes through
or b) make up a target, gambling on the doc not successfully saving

If he is the doctor, claiming his target gives the mafia a safe kill the following night, which is enough reason for him not to claim it as long as he's maintaining he's town.

If I'm scum I get the NK held tonight and claim I saved whoever, have some random townie roleblocked and try to get the real doctor to CC me.

If I am doctor claiming my target tonight is unnecessarily endangering to who I would attempt to save unless there is a counterclaim, I don't think there is going to be one regardless of me being doc or cop, so if I'm doc I'm not going to claim my save tonight until there is a counter.

This is dumb. This is scum trying to 1) waste Town's time during the night phase by wrangling a dumb vote, and 2) get a PR counterclaim that they can actually NK.

Either Ike is scum, in which case we should lynch him (and this also explains why he hasn't been NK'd), or...

Ike is the Doctor, or...

Ike is the shittiest cop for making himself vulnerable to the NK without divulging his scans for town to use.

I don't see any reasonable explanation for why Ike is still alive if he's town. Yes, he's an un-CC'd PR, because—against all odds—our actual PRs are not so stupid as to come bumbling out with with counterclaims.

I think it's time to lynch Ike.

1) Oh yeah, I'm for sure wasting towns time because we always get so much discussion done at night.
2) I would wait until the last few minutes to post so if someone did counter claim they could wait literally a few seconds until D4 starts and are safe from the N3 NK, but this point is moot because of the next point
Next Point) There's not going to be a counter claim, scum wouldn't waste a member to counter claim since we obviously have no clue who they are or what were doing

I'm glad this silly voting thing hasn't at all hindered the two pages of discussion in the last 5 hours
