Why would have considered that, Bozo? Being on Ezio meant we didn't think Jamiet was scum, so I'm not sure that helping lynch Jamiet to avoid a tie was a better choice for us, given the low odds of a tie anyway.

Also, it would only be fair to direct that line of questioning to everyone else who wasn't on Jamiet...

The only way it would have tied is if the HR tag was on Ezio, and the DD tag was on neither of the top two wagons; or the DD tag was on Jamiet and the HR tag was on neither of the top two wagons. That's a pretty narrow set of circumstances.

@Foxcastle: With 9 of the votes on Jamie and Ezio, either of the combinations you mentioned were possible, although not probable, so there would be reason to consider it if you were not sure about Jamie or Ezio and did not want to see the vote end in a tie. If you thought the chance that Jamie was scum was low it certainly makes sense not to consider it. Did you think the chance of Ezio being scum was higher? Do you still suspect Ezio?

As far as I can tell, only those voting for Jamie or Ezio were online at EOD.

To be honest, I just looked at the bot and saw there wasn't much movement and that my scumread was in second place. I figured with over ten minutes left it wasn't time to worry about a tie yet. I'm still pretty surprised nobody else voted after me.

I obviously thought Ezio was more likely to be scum than Jamiet, particularly since I didn't think Jamiet was likely to be scum. That's pretty much what that vote means.

I still suspect Ezio somewhat, yes.

@ghug: You were scum reading and voting for Jamie earlier D1, and you did not give a reason why you scum read Ezio when you voted for him. Why did you think Ezio was more likely scum than Jamie?

Bozo, why do you think Jamiet's wagon was all town?

If Ezio was scum, the scumteam would have been much more interested in making sure that Jamiet's lynch went through and so I think they would have tried to compensate for the HR/DD name tags by piling on Jamiet. Maybe that implies Ezio and Jamiet are both town.

@Foxcastle: I did not see any reason to suspect Ezio more than Jamie, so I think it was likely town vs. town.

On p.32 you say, "I can see Jamie's wagon being all town, especially if Ezio is town, which I think is likely."

Are you saying that you're townreading Durga, Yavuz, Ezio, and Xorxes?

@Foxcastle: Why do you suspect Ezio? The only reason you gave when you voted for him was that Jamie was voting for him.

@bozo, I'd questioned Ezio a few pages prior, specifically on his 180 on Jamie (which in turn also made me scumread Jamie a bit less).

The conversation on this page feels so weird to me.

@ghug: Ezio had no votes on him at the time he voted for Jamie, putting Jamie at five votes, so he would not have been trying to protect himself. Why do you think he would vote for Jamie at that point as scum after previously defending Jamie?

@thamrick: What do you mean, do you think ghug, Foxcastle, and I are the three remaining scum pretending to have a discussion?

Interesting that you jump to that conclusion, Bozo... I was going to suggest that it looks weird to Thamrick because he's comparing it to what he sees in the Mafia QT...

@thamrick: Do you have an opinion on Jamie vs. Ezio as the D1 lynch? If you were online, would you have voted for one of them?

No. Is that the only way a conversation can feel weird?

It feels contrived. Mostly from your end bozo.

@Foxcastle: thamrick's implication was not exactly subtle.

If I was online, I probably would've voted for Jamie of the two of them. I don't remember any particular feelings about Ezio D1. I remember feeling like Jamie was slightly off and I think I noted that. Beyond those 2, I would have pushed harder for xorxes.

You've clearly thought about it some, so what conclusions have you drawn from EoD1? What does it tell you about Ezio? What does it tell you about other players?
