He didn't explicitly say, but he called his shot on Vash, so unless he got insanely lucky that Vash ended up being EZIO, he's deputy.

I don't get the Vecna shot with the general consensus being for holding the shot. I also don't think we should lynch Vecna though, as he's a potential PR and will be sorted out sooner or later regardless.

@nesdunk - you voted Jamie originally "on gut" on page 8. What led you to that vote? What led you to your Vecna vote?

Uh yeah definitely not up for a Vecna lynch as a confirmed Townie, and anyone who is seriously advocating for one is again being completely stupid, whether townie or scum. I guess that's part of Jamiet's meta?

My initial vote was gut based on Jamiet's deflection tactics. Very accusatory and aggressive, forcing others on the defensive, drawing attention away from actual progress in scumhunting. In fact, if his sole reason for voting Vecna is because he doesn't want anyone stupid on town, then what's the reason not to vote him out for that appeal?

Come to think of it, is it possible that Vecna is illusionist and used his Night 0 glamour on himself? Still not sure why he'd take the risk of reveal, but seeing as how all the discussion has been centered around his role as deputy, I guess it makes sense.

My action was simple: disable the power of the illusionist to avoid any and all confusion with their potential shenanigans. Create a townclear with the doctor still around. Take out my strongest scumread on day1. Shit just didnt work out that way. Oops.

Jamiet reaction is completelly bullshit, but is it Scum? Why scum will make this kind of threat and try to lynch Vecna (that obviously won´t be lynched).
Bozo isn´t a bad option for a vote, his jump on Jamiet look really like an oportunistic scum vote, but he is alrady getting the pressure he deserves.

Bo´s reaction was also interesting, he came out of nowhere (hadn´t post in a while) and reacted exactly how I think a smart scum would react, being dismissive of Jamiet´s tantrum, but not pushing him hard.

Durga´s reaction was also odd, she seems to not fully believe Vecna is the Deputy, but also think Jamiet got to be scum.

@nesdunk - can you point me to examples of what you mean by Jamie being reflective and in particular, drawing attention away from scumhunting? Jamie being aggressive, accusatory, and putting others on the defensive is pretty much Jamie to a T. I do think he has been slightly off though.

Why would I push him hard? There is no reason for scum to do what he did. I don't waste my time and energy, both of which are in rather short supply, on stupid townies doing things stupid townies would do.

Also by the way Vecna should apologise for this statement - accusing the GMs of rigging the setup to deliberately put the EZIO nametag on the Doctor, when the GM has stated very clearly the nametags were allocated at random. I know I give the GMs a hard time but I'd never accuse them of something like that.

I think Vecna is scum who happened to roll the "Guak" badge. He's killed our Doc with a lucky shot, and now he's trying to falsely claim townclear which he isn't. Anyone who thinks he is a townclear - you're just wrong, he isn't (unless you know you are wearing the GUAK nametag).

Lynch him. Even if my theory is wrong, he's only a VT now, because the Deputy only gets one shot. But I think I'm right. I know Vecna's play and that's the kind of thing he would do as scum.

Why did Vecna call his shot if he's not the Deputy? I think it's more likely that he's the Deputy who hipfired Vash and it's just dumb luck that Vash was EZIO, rather than Vecna managing to peg the 1-in-16 chance of a random shot. (Yeah, they're both dumb luck, but different kinds of dumb luck...)

If Vecna was Deputy or the Illusionist, that means that the GUAK nametag is still alive, and has been informed that their gun has vanished. So if you're GUAK, step up and say so.

Then, if the Deputy is still alive and has a gun, they know that Vecna is the Illusionist who glamoured himself. Doesn't mean the Deputy has to shoot or out himself. But it does rely on GUAK claiming.
