Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Bona's thoughts on which players are on what team, part 2
(This is the tl;dr of part 1)
Alien expected play: matching town meta to the t
mafia expected play: leading town or matching town meta
sk expected play: extremely solvy
town expected play: looking for scum, possibly less invested
Players, b through em
bob
bona
brain
bungo
celaph
damo
demon
donny
emc
Bob - is active and appearing to be trying to solve. He hasn't tried to lead town. Probably not an alien. I could see him being any of the other three teams, though, (town > mafia >>>>> sk)
bona - (take it with a big handful of salt) is very much more active than previously. Not matching last two games in terms of posting amount, but similar posts and thoughts. Again, probably not alien
Brain - is active and lead town during several points, so alien is out the window there. Has made genuine pushes, and did the mason claim business d2 and has stated that he wants to draw an nk. Sk would never do this, and only stupidly bold mafia would either. Town
bungo - posts a lot but doesn't say a lot. Appears to be looking for scum but hasn't lead many pushes or made any original arguments that made any impact. Does math. Not sk, and probably not town? I'd be inclined to guess mafia, then alien.
celaph - is a low poster, and has less ideas then before. Wasn't a big pusher as town, but he usually built good arguments. Not seeing that now. Doesn't match any of my expected plays, but I think if you shift his town play by the expected alien/mafia play, you get what you have now (imitating town meta). 100% not sk, possibly not town. I'm less sure *based off this method*
damo - low poster. Has solid ideas, but doesn't lead wagons. I'm not totally sure, but I believe this matches his town meta. Since I'm not as familiar with him, I'm not as sure, but I believe this indicates that he is not sk or alien. I'm not sure between mafia or town, but probably town???
demon - high poster. Has good ideas. Not a huge wagon leader, but pushes people. Went along with brain's mason claim. I don't know his meta, so, again, I'm not as confident here, but 100% not sk or alien. Probably town, but mafia is not totally impossible
donny - somehow has a lot of posts. I haven't noticed a lot of them, but on reread they seem good, if kinda easily faked. I'm not sure where he fits. Not sk, though
emc - 14th poster overall but 4th poster today. Not matching any meta I know of, but seems to be hunting. 75% sure either town or sk.

Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
More serious read, his absence read similar to mine as did returning opinions, and I am absolutely Vecna trash so he doesn't even need to say anything for pocketing to occur. Read is obviously biased beyond belief.
That being said, as of this point I think he's just sort of following me the way you follow mushroom foragers to find corpses. Probably scum but he's not a priority - with multiple factions in play he'll scumhunt regardless his alignment - so he'll either be wagoned off or he'll be dead from opposing faction in few days.
So town-null by proxy coz I love his smug ass. I'll always treat him as town even when scumreading him.
The absence does fit my personal take on his scum meta being something like, I shall misquote here, "glorious wifom (posting habits), lazy-ass bastard".
Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Can you elaborate on how sk = extremely solvy and then reread your descriptions of players and say why you think they aren't sk? e.g. Bob, Brain, donny and demon.Alien expected play: matching town meta to the t
mafia expected play: leading town or matching town meta
sk expected play: extremely solvy
town expected play: looking for scum, possibly less invested

So our correct play now is kill Celaph. If he is Alien Damo666 is clear and obviously our next kill is then HR. D2 EOD is already terrible but if he has saved an alien that’s the final nail in the coffin for HR.
However, if Celaph flips town. Damo666 is lying scum and HR’s actions don’t look so bad.
If Celaph flips mafia we can kill Damo666 and HR.

So we now know that according to Damo, Celaph must be an alien. OR Damo666 is lying and probably scum.

Alrighty.
I've read though, but I'm going to post my normal replies then get to the HR stuff, because it's more complex.
See you very soon!

Well... Certainly interesting.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 11:24 pmMulder floated through an insubstantial, flickering dream-world. He was on a hospital trolley, rolling slowly along a darkened corridor. He could hear running water in the background. Scully appeared, floating above him. She appeared to speak but he couldn't hear her. He tried to sit up on the trolley but at that moment it ploughed into an enormous mountain of red Donald Trump baseball caps. The sound of rushing water grew louder. The phone was ringing. The mountain of baseball caps fell around him, smothering him. He reached out. The phone was ringing.
The phone was ringing.
He suddenly woke up, the dream taking flight into the recesses of his subconscious as he fumbled for the phone.
He realised that he really needed to pee.
His flailing hand found the phone just before the call rang out.
"Uhh... Mulder"
Scully's voice brought him fully into the waking world.
"Fox, are you ok?"
"Sorry, I just... I fell asleep. What time is it? Are you ok?"
"I'm fine. It's 8.30. In the morning. I just wanted to say good morning."
He breathed more easily.
"Well, good morning Dana. Did you sleep ok?"
"Better than you, by the sound of it."
He was pleased she was ok. He really needed to pee, though.
NOBODY died during the night.

I have legitimately had this thought.
(not "prefect adventures", but for us to run one together. Imagine it, Both GMs unavailable at the same time? How good's that?)
