im almost inclined to show damo how youd apply conditional probabilities in this scenario, but I know that probably wont help much.

the chance of outing a jailer here is pretty low (it might not even exist). especially factoring in that u said their target wouldnt make sense. It couldve still been used as a roleblock, but thatd be poor use.

if we kill the roleblocker today, you (durga) will get another result if we have a last rites priest.

if you tracked a RB it also gives us another clear. same for the sniffer role.

If you tracked the disguiser thing, its quite likely he hid their roleblocker, but we cant take that risk today.

im still not sure if its worth it. also, we might burden ourselvws with an outed jamiet squawking around for another few phases.

If durga is convinced Y is an unlikely jailee (as she has intimated) I think she should just tell us X because X would be almost certainly PR scum as oppose possible goon Jamie.

If she is unsure about Y than she should say so and delay reveal to EON.

Her view on X is neither here nor there imo.

The Pres and I are talking about the option. We(he) have some scheduling issues we are working around. Which, as he originally stated was the original reason he originally instituted the "no hammer" rule.

But what's the gamble? There's zero chance whatsoever that Player X as scum doesn't claim jailer now - So it's gonna be outed either way. This gives us the best chance of garnering additional scum out of that fact.

If they claimed jailer and weren't cc'd, there's zero chance whatsoever that we'd end up going balls to the wall and killing them anyway over the actual conf scum.

1. Trackers cannot see the target of an EDEN LOYALIST carrying out the faction's assassination kill. Trackers cannot see the target of a role whose action was cancelled. Notably, Trackers cannot see the target of Medics and Last Rites Priests unless those roles have successfully protected their target. (In other words, if the Tracker targets the Medic, and if the Medic targets another player who is attacked and protected, the Tracker will see that the Medic targeted that player. If the Medic's target is not attacked, the Tracker will receive no result.) Trackers can see all other targets.
