2) If “yes” then if Marvin the Martian with a goal of being killed at night had a bomb, does that stop their goal?

1) Correct - the bomb protects the holder from being killed, in the event that the Mafia try to NK them. (It also kills any other visitors).

2) This is a good question; allow me to check with Bo_Sox as he designed the setup.

3) Sharing Looney Tunes clips is always welcomed in this game.

1) Maybe? I mean, I can check but I’m not digging through the attic or anything.
2) I don’t see how me mentioning I knew almost everyone can be construed as anything tbh. The Taz mention was what it seems on the surface - a comment on the flavor. The google doc in the setup thread had no flavor names and that was the setup I was reviewing so, yeah.

I'm in proxy advisory. Have a lot of internal deadlines coming up for client presentations and research because we have a big weeklong showcase for clients first week of October.

Is your issue with bozo his question about if you're trying to be recruited? His vote(s) for you seems to be based on other reasons, and since he was only the second person to vote for you I don't really see it as him hopping on the bandwagon.

I find damo's vote more suspicious, since he took your wagon from 2 to 3, making it a viable option, and then immediately hedged with a comment about you potentially trying to cause the mafia to misrecruit you (I think I agree with Bunny that intentionally trying to draw traitor reads as town isn't worth scum getting their first recruit vote wrong). Also, his "is it worth taking a risk" comment looks like scum finding an easy excuse to vote someone.

So if we assume that damo wouldn't think you'd make such an obvious signal, then I think scum!damo is likely. The issue is, I could definitely see town!damo believing traitor!Tom would do this. Bunny certainly seems to think it's possible.

I’ve got more experience with bozo, and view him as one of the better players - and one who is definitely familiar with me. I would not expect players who know me to consider me doing something that dumb (but maybe my ego is causing me to think people have a better opinion of me).

I’ve only played with Bunny a bit, but my impression is that he is a) less familiar with me and b) a pot stirrer (in a good way). He brings up anything and everything to drive discussion - so this seems on character and not strange to me.

The person holding the bomb would not be killed, because the mafia player visiting them would be blown to smithereens, along with anyone else visiting them that fine evening.

Marvin the Martian's goal as the freelancer is to be hit by the mafia nightkill. He will self-save and survive the hit, but he must be hit. If his pursuer gets *BOOM!!*ed, then he has not been hit by the mafia and has not met that component of his win condition.

This is a fantastic example of the bomb mechanic. Because Marvin the Martian was the one possessing the bomb, he survives, even though it blew up immediately in his vicinity and 3/4 of the planet he was standing on is evaporated into thin air by the blast. Thank you for this very realistic portrayal of a very realistic item.
