Vecna does have a point.

9 players with 2 scum means 22% of the players are scum.
11 players with 3 scum means 27% of the players are scum.

Could you potentially go to a 12 player setup (still with 3 scum)? That means a quarter of the players are scum which is just about in the sweet spot.

Having just said that, the lack of a Night phase and the need to have their kill happen at the same time as the normally-voted Daykill... does create one small, specific hinderance for Mafia...

its about the number of mislynches Jamiet (which stays at 2 by raising it to 11). Adding one player doesnt change that (unless scum fail to NK).

Yep. 2 misskills against 3 scum in a vanilla setup is pretty harsh to town. I don't think the no night will affect the scum ability to NK (at least in the first days) and daychat also favours scum.

I will talk to Fox about adding a PR if y'all are not confident, but I'm not changing the number of players now.

Game will start at 6pm est tonight and will remain vanilla even if I add a PR or two.

My thought was that scum would have to be very attentive at EoD if there was any risk of their "NK" ending up on the same person as the DayKill, because this outcome would effectively depriving them of a kill even if the DayKill is on a Townsperson.

Its usually pretty easy to predict which person has very little chance of getting lynched. And even if surprises happen, changing a NK is as easy as placing a vote.
