Let's calm down, it's just a game
Honestly I was fine with just calling out the terrible strategy if he had just owned up to him being a major part in the outcome of this game. But you just saw that he’s like totally content with making this all of towns fault because got the cop killed and said that the towns highest chances of winning was after he claimed cop.

Yeah, that’s because it was right before you got the real cop mob killed, genius.
I already acknowledged the negative impact on town my decision had while the game was still in progress. I am now responding to those who did not consider the possibility that I was fake claiming because they thought there was no reason to do it as town. During the game I pointed out the last two times I was killed D1, both on close votes over one other player, the other player turned out to be mafia, and in both games that player survived until the end of the game for mafia wins. If I had fake claimed in either of those games, it would have worked out better for town, but in those games I went down as a VT as to not risk outing a PR. Here we had PR that I felt was of limited use to town, so I took a chance that the real cop would not counterclaim. Again, I realize how badly that risk backfired.

That stupid END vote. I should have made a bigger deal about it during the time I had.

Nice deflection around it, Durga.

That’s not your call to make. You literally ruined the game for me because you thought I couldn’t make use of my role. In fact I 100% could have, and would had you not done that. The fact that you’re trying to stave off responsibility for ruining this game makes you seem like a huge douchebag in my eyes.
I take my share of the responsibility for the town loss. Also, I ruined the game for you not because I thought you couldn't make use of the cop role, but because I thought you were scum and I knew I was town.

You heard it here folks. Bozo made the call that got the cop killed. I rest my case.
Yes, I made a decision to get you killed over me because I thought there was a good chance you were scum and little chance you were the cop. There is no doubt that turned out to be a bad decision.

I do not think town should have ended, because even if they were sure I was scum, I was obviously willing to talk to them, and they could have asked me questions to try to gain information.

I did know that, but it doesn’t really affect the game all that much. We learn less from goon flips but that just means town can’t off a person by “association” which I find super weak because it’s easily fabricated. We should focus on people acting suspiciously, and not trying to daisy chain voting people out, which can be especially dangerous in Lylo. But I’m thinking a bit far ahead.

Thanks for the game, everyone!!! I think it's amazing how you all bring something different to the dynamic.

Seems I should just sit out the next few and just lurk. There's a lot for me to learn/understand. It's a fun game, but I bring so little to it right now.

FWIW, I think you improved sooo much from the start of this game to the end. You should play if you enjoy it! Don't listen to others who are just being sore losers

The best way to learn the game is to play it. You should play the next one

My comment at the end wasn't an attempt at pocketing. It was genuine. You were making a lot more coherent arguments by the end of this game than you were last game

I'm just surprised you never got the typical newbie treatment of being wagoned and killed D1. That was typical of when I last played

Good game everyone, this was a lot of fun after being out of the mafia scene for over a year. I feel somewhat responsible for my strong gold push N2, but I think it was reasonable with the info I had. Congrats damo and durga - I knew there was something fishy about that roleblock question

@HB it was great playing with you, you should definitely join the next one. Who knows, maybe we can form an all-Hamilton scumteam.

@Gold I really wish you had argued with me Night 2 after my post against you. It's possible it might not have lead to much, but when you didn't respond I ended up thinking I was spot-on, which convinced me even further I was on the right track, and it also maybe would've given you some more time to try to swing the daykill off yourself.

@HR @flash thanks for GMing, was a great setup.

Yeah, keep playing. You'll learn more by being in the hot seat. This game can be harsh to newcomers, especially because people need to consider your abilities in trying to read you (take bozo, I don't hold his idiocy against him outside of the game). You're definitely improving, and you shouldn't taking anything personallly.

Np. I might run it again some other time because I would like to see how it would play out under more normal conditions

And I agree, I think HB did fine - it always takes time to improve (particularly as town), and mini-mafia might perhaps put that more into focus because you have fewer opportunities to be wrong and get away with it.

Thanks HR and Flash for GMing and I think this was a great setup.

I stated my toughts on the God thread about the fake claim and will not repeat here, but I apologize to Ghug for my initial opinion on Bozo's play....

HB, you should keep playing. You put a real effort on learning and improving and it's more (and better) then most of the newbies (and the oldies to be honest).

Cop getting daykilled D1 really smashed a wrecking ball through this setup, that was very annoying
Setup guidance: If your setup is heavily reliant on the performance or survival of one role, reconsider the setup balance.

In small games that can be particularly hard, but there you go. I thought the presence of the Death Millers and the Godfather made this setup rather scum-sided to be perfectly honest.

That said, the performance of some players was also a big factor, clearly.

Bozo's misplay worked out very badly for town (but no offence to Bozo in saying that - you committed hard to your read on Yozo because you had faith in your judgement. You were mistaken, but never mind). I am, as is well documented, not a fan of fake-claiming as town.

I also think Durga and Damo, from what I saw, actually played pretty well. Damo is dangerous as scum and Durga seemed more comfortable in a scum role than the first time I saw her in that alignment.

I will be submitting my setup for Grand Kouncil approval in the next day or so, for the next big game.
