Emc still lurking like a motherfucker, +1ing every single post.

Hi emc
I'm dead. My reads this game were so bad lol. The scumteam made up all of my stronger townreads.
For real you should just talk more and all would be made easier.

Being the one people try to kill every day makes for great reads. The game I claimed scum day 1 is still one of my best town games.
Mh, yeah. My activity is too inconsistent and swingy. Considering I would scumread myself for it it made for reading the voters difficult hah!

Still, very good play by the scumteam, in general.

HR played a risky and up-front strategy, and genuinely did drive multiple mis-kills.

I don't know what else I could have done to convince people that I was right about that.

Did I not present a strong enough case? I put hours of real effort into it. I feel like having a little cry.
Yeah, honestly the scum team was masterful this game.

Also, shout out to Bo for being a legit good player - he accidentally got the info thread and opened it and bowed out because of it.

And don't worry Jamie, I'll drink a beer tonight for you :D
Bo is a bad person.

I don't like Millers.

The Miller was a really big extra obstacle for town.
That and bozo drawing the chosen one.

I said it a lot in the GT, but the town PR's got unlucky this game and their reads were poor unfortunately :(

I think that was why they paused the game for a bit.

EMC, you're def analytical enough to be a good scumhunter, but you're focusing on the wrong things IMO. Rather than looking at the quality and type of posts, try to look at the quality instead. That's the most meta indicative trait IMO. Look at ppl who seem to be trying too hard etc.

And when ppl lead daykills on town 4 days in a row, you gotta kill them.
Nah
nah to which part?

Missed you btw. How's Google (?) treating you?

Tbh I don't really buy that emc was a big lurker - I was very surprised how much attention he got. Sure he disappeared at night and was absent for a day, but he was also a very frequent poster and very readily gave out his reads. It seemed like people saw what they expected to see rather than what what actually happening, so I felt a bit sorry for him (but also saw a great opportunity to pocket him by being his lone defender)
Emc’s past games of disappearing killed him. I thought he was quite active as well. People wanted to kill him D1 for out of game reasons and once that happened people wanted to kill him every day because he was a wagon D1.

I was the one not active enough - and I apologize - but tbf I was really frustrated that I made the same point about emcs vote D1 and literally not one person even acknowledged it. I probably made that point 6 times throughout the game.

That being said, my reads were horrible and I suck.

Flum accidentally sent it to him - part of the game was redoing the ship threads each phase as people joined and he must've copied/pasted the wrong one by accident.

Worce! Have I somehow evolved properly to become a more terrible version of you this game? Opposite reads, indeed

I thought that was because of the problem sending the QT to Goldfing

But also, well done to therul for his first game as scum - despite his subbing out. His derpclearing was highly effective, considering how many people didn't scumread him.

Yeah, especially as we didn't coach him at all. It's a shame he dropped, he was doing really well til then.

Yeah I concur that that was why emc drew so much attention early on. I mean sure his reads sucked, but tbf most townies had pretty terrible reads for the majority of that game. I was the only scum to come close to being eliminated til Fox at the end. I think the fact we all agreed not to do any bussing right from the start (and only relented at MILO) and therefore there was no fire behind scum wagons for most of the game really worked well tbh.

Yeah, once emc became a wagon he was going to be a wagon every future day until a scum flipped just because of the limited info.

Scum definitely played well. It’s always tough when town doesn’t get an early flip

When ghug started trolling back I guess the rest of us assumed it was just that, and scum were careful to pay it no attention as well, so the people reading later were discouraged from paying heed.

Ok, I get that it's a bad look for me here, but everyone in the God thread and on the scum team had the benefit of knowing it was an actual slip, whereas everyone still playing saw it as a joke for which there was precedent. Even Jamie, who didn't like it, didn't like it because he thinks it's anti-town to joke about being scum (a point that gets a bit of credence here, even if it's still not one I agree with overall), not because he thought it was a slip.

It did strike me as odd when gold claimed others had claimed scum in the same way. In retrospect, I wish I'd pushed on that more.
