Also if we do allow +1 it should be that you arent allowed to UNDO them, as thatd constitute deleting content.

I have no way of seeing who undid them, so there would be no way of enforcing that rule. With a total ban, there is.

If your setup required something different, we can figure it out when the time comes.

I'll admit I kinda forgot about this place and the forum. The new forum is a bit of a hassle to get to and navigate so my quick checks of the main page don't lead me to remember this...

We just had a game of tiny mafia finish up 3 hours ago. I'm guessing a new game will get started up in a week or two.

I have volunteered to run the next game of Mafia, but I think Foxcastle may be interested and I'll let him go first if he wants.

If I run a game, I will use the Wild West setup that we used for Mafia 33, with one amendment - to replace the Fruit Vendor with a new role, Quack Doctor:

QUACK DOCTOR
You are the QUACK DOCTOR. Each day you must vote for a suspect. TWICE per game, at night, you may visit another player by PM-ing both GMs with the order ##VISIT <NAME>. They will receive a message telling them they were saved by the Doctor. At night you can talk to the other Mafia in the Mafia QT at <LINK>. You win when all of the Town have been eliminated, or nothing can stop this from happening.

I went ahead and copied captainmemes score tracker for Mafia, and updated through all the current games. It took me a while, and I had to go through a lot of peterbot records, info qts, and such to get all the info, so I likely made a mistake here or there. If any of you see any mistakes, let me know and I can change them. Also, captainmeme decided to award 1 point to anyone modkilled or subbed out, which drops your average. This is definitely a good policy for anyone that is modkilled or replaced due to inactivity, so I kept that policy.

I also have a second sheet that is a filtered "leaderboard". It contains all players that have logged at least five games, and sorts by average points. The top ten players are:

goldfinger0303 (2.63 in 8 games)
Squigs44 (2.60 in 5 games)
Brainbomb (2.47 in 19 games)
TomBombadil (2.43 in 7 games)
RagingIke257 (2.33 in 6 games)
Fluminator (2.29 in 14 games)
Ezio (2.25 in 16 games)
peterlund (2.2 in 10 games)
teacon7 (2.2 in 10 games)
President Eden (2.2 in 5 games)

Obviously with me only playing 5 games, I will need to play more to prove myself. I think BB's 2.47 rating with 19 games is really really impressive.

Most games played goes to ghug for 32 games.

Also, we have had 18 town victories, 18 mafia victories, 3 3rd party victories, and 2 draws. Very balanced outcomes.

Squiggs, I cannot say enough how much I appreciate that youve done this. 18 - 18! Wow!

Somethinh capt meme did was give greater weight to 3p victories. Not sure what the formula was but goldfinger is quite good at all sides of mafia, so sample size for him is still valid.

And look at you squiggs! #2. I remember you played way back in the early days, I used to read those games for fun and practice.

I was actually just reading M3.5 to see myself back then. I was soooooooo scummy back then. I think I was still decent as far as scumreading goes (my first game I put together a case on PJ, who was scum), and I had a good grasp on most of the game, but I was so scared. Here is a quote from me:

"However, I'm not voting against you as it'll be seen reactive but I put you right up there with Ghug and YJ on my scum list."

I just didn't understand so many things. I didn't know what hedging, buddying, and stuff like that was. I was a VT scared of dying, so I sheeped like crazy. And ghug tore me apart for it. I remember I was terrified of him when I first played, but he was only trying to help me be a better player by pointing out all the ways I sucked.

I think almost every player has to go through this the first time they play forum mafia. It is present in almost every game, since there has been a new player in almost every game here. Last game, I think this was apparent in the Ezio - DT conflict, which was why I made that comment to DT about Ezio.

My first game was pretty bad too. I was paranoid and drunk most of it

bo_sox38 seems like a decent player, surprised I have never heard of him around here.

Im still salty for getting 1 point in a game where I carried my team but then got modkilled due to not submitting an inconsequential action while I was typing in the QT all night

That's because I originally awarded 4 points for all victories, not just 3rd party. When I changed the scoring I just did a find/replace all 4s to 3s and then changed HR's victory back to a 4. Sorry about that :D

captainmeme, you used to play all the time. What happened? Did RL just get too busy?

Partially being more busy than I used to, but I think it's mostly just that I burnt out. I stopped finding the game as fun as I used to.
I mostly play Survivor instead now, over on Mafiascum; it suits my playstyle a lot more than Mafia did - I was always a fairly selfish player and that doesn't work well in a team game :D
