Hey there everyone, I've been working on creating a game over the past couple weeks and was wondering if I could get several of you to play test it. The game is based on politics, gerrymandering in particular.

I think it would work best with between 4 and 8 players, but I can always make it bigger or smaller based on the interest level.

It would work like Mafia where phases would be a certain time period and right now each election cycle is one week long, again open to suggestions. :D

So it is like diplomacy in USA political system. I like it, and as a non-American, I find it interesting (also inspirational). I would like to playtest it.

I see it as a sort of mash up between US politics and European politics, I'm not sure how much Gerrymandering happens in Europe but I assume its less than what happens in the US. However with 4-8 players is will hardly be a 2 party system. It'll be fun to see what happens

What are the parties/traits?

For simplicity the traits that each voter has are just Ideology and Faith. A voter will have a number between 1 and 10 for each of those which is randomly generated when the game starts. 1 in ideology is extremely capitalist, 10 is extremely communist. 1 in faith is extremely atheist while a 10 is extremely religious.

All parties, which are what a player controls, will have scores for these traits too which is basically the platform that the party is running on. At the beginning of the game the player decides the party's traits and voters will vote for the party that best matches their own traits.

Thanks PW, it took a bunch of trial and error, but once I got it I could copy the formulas for the most part
