Hmm. I wonder what that would have changed. We were well on our way to considering lynching Bozo. I imagine Day 5 would have been a bit different if Bozo, Tem, and Squigs were all wagons. Maybe Squigs doesn't get pressured as much. Squigs likely still gets lynched eventually, but it's possible things go quite different.

I feel like town would still win, but it may be closer.

That said, Bozo would probably be able to claim Commuter or Hider and be cleared by xorx...
FWIW - that was the one, and only, time he was ever targeted. So I didn't do it by the words that bozo received, but it was at least consistent.

I maintain, best part about this game was still the +1's
I respectfully disagree.

The best part of the game was when town lynched the most OP role in the game before the vengeful claimant. I was overjoyed at how that day went.

Hah! That was certainly an experience to watch as a dead townie. My standards for average play have rather changed.

I still think we should have no-lynched.

Also Bunny almost had me fooled with his Student claim, but he slipped up and got the role wrong and it all fell apart

Also Vecna

What's up, that was a kinda.... interesting game from you
I dno man, I think ive been honest in everything ive said. I have depended a lot on setup spec as opposed to my usual scum hunting, and I think in a vacuum none of my assertions were....too far off the mark?

I did stress that I felt donny was towny even after the flip, but he just wouldnt engage with me even though I tried really hard to get him to give us a logical explenation how he knew about the secretary.

The brainbomb thing....well its a thing thatll probably always exist between us. I dont think there ever has been a game where we townread eachother from start to end. Also, why did RHK confirm his claim there? It just makes no sense what he did there lol. And then the cop guilty came. the patterns, the potential for shenanigans....

Im not even feeling guilty about my assumption about the lie detector. That role was way too powerful to be in this game (and it was never told to us what restrictions were placed on it), and it conveniently was never used too.

It was obvious scum would have a roleblock this game too. Who wouldve thought they just chose to never use it and let our investigatives solve the entire game right? So yeah, my brain defaulted to it having to be you using it in a weird way. To be fair, if scum had used it, it wouldve cleared you and they had another town protective to deal with.

All in all, my paranoia just got the better of me on several occasions. A lot of stuff in this game that was claimed just felt off, and it was off from a balance perspective.

Well played chaqa and xorxes. you carried the game like champs

Thank you GM and subs

Thanks all for the lack of toxicity.

I agree with Squigs that the best moment was how we somehow got Tem lynched in front of him.

Sorry to rain on the parade but although the game was interesting it wasnt the best fun wise for me...

I knew from a long way out scum had little to no chance of winning, I doubt any group of 4 could have pulled off a win with the set of roles in play. Being under the threat of mass claim was also uncomfortable, a detrimental if legitimate aspect of the game imo.

Now to address the elephant in the room; brain's meltdown definitely has an effect on the game . I thank him for his apology and hope he continues to play but brain please don't do it again. That's 2 games on a row and it really does put a dampener on things.

All these factors made me less engaged than I could have been and for this I particularly apologise to Bunny as he put in such a tremendous amount of effort in.

@worcej that must have been difficult to GM , it's not something I could do so despite my reservations about balance I think you did well.

First of all, thanks to Worcej for GMing this game. It was a really huge effort and the roles and the flavors were awesome. And the game was really fun.

The balance problems are hard to deal with a closed setup and also with a 3 party that could turn into a strong faction if played well (not the case). I guess the game could have been really different if other people have the same roles.

I also liked that people kept the game civilized even with heated discussion and I hope this is a trend.

Thanks, worcej, for an interesting and entertaining game.
I appreciate your good reaction to my emergency. And I offer apologies to the scummies and townies that I had to bail.

My first closed game. It was 'different.' But I'd be up to trying one again from the OTHER side of the fence.

Thanks Bunny, who was fantastic.

AND... y'all were so very civil. Even the blowup(s) were handled well by nearly everyone.

Enjoyed this game.

Thanks worcej! The game was great.

A question - where is the current results spreadsheet? Anyone planning to update it?

Yes, I really feel doing a lot more closed setups is the way forward.

It allows scum to play a lot more creative in just faking claims.

It removes the issue of massclaims

And just playing in an environment where you do not know what youre dealing with just allows people to play more creatively (or blow up entirely).

Doesnt have to be role madness per se. Just figuring out whether it is from the start will be a fun thing in itself. Loads of VT's in the game is fine as well

Eh, I found the ambiguity of closed setup to be a bit distracting.

Maybe if we had a page of normal roles + modifiers to work from and say "anything in here is legal", but we also have a lot of GMs that like to make new stuff up (including me).

How do we setup your dinner chaqa?

If you sent me a pm with your address and what you eat from there and give me a slight hint on where to order chipotle delivery we can set it up

Unfortunately Chipotle doesn't deliver to where I live, which has been the cause of a great sadness these past few weeks for me.

They probably do e-Giftcards
