Brainbot: If I am to be purged your amendment should read

##Proposal 0.2 (Voting Rules) If no proposal or multiple contradictory proposals for a crisis solution is/are passed, select the one with the greatest yea:nay vote ratio. If two or more such proposals are tied, wes will use a random number generator to determine which one is passed. All voting must end exactly 1 hour before phase change to give the President time to veto any proposal if he so chooses. If a crisis solution is vetoed, the proposed solution with the second-highest yea:nay ratio will be selected. Proposals shall not need a minimum number of votes to pass. All proposals must be proposed in their final form at least 6 hours before phase change to give players sufficient time to vote on them.

Yes: Yavuz, leon, thamrick, dargo, szpotzi
No: ike
Passed

Our bot is deliberately ignoring a direct order of a councilor to add an amendment to his own piece of legislation.
Yeah, it says that'll happen sometimes in its description
It didn't behave in this snarky manner back in my great great grandpapa's day. Must be too old and needs to retire.

Brainbot: To be fair Ynbar has been technologically backward for about 200 years. After their Serbium ran dry and the place became overpopulated a number of Nationalist political parties came to power. They refused to invest in Science and gutted education programs. They shut down a number of research grants. Eventually they stopped trying to discover advanced techs. They kept the same OS for the most part and I obliged.

I am after all pretty great. Im sure theres some patches for me on the deep web. Let me pull up Internet Explorer real quick and check.

**processing**

Ah damn, popups.

**closing hundreds of spam windows**

No we dont need oil paintings
No we dont want bonerjams

Sigh

Whyd I bother. Its too tedius being upgraded. Plus I lose my humor and joyous attitude at the higher upgrades. If you decide to research greater supremecy I pretty much hit optimal levels.

Brainbot:

Yavuz selected wes
And you have as well

The votes to use me as your OS are tied If Im not mistaken.

At any time if you find me distasteful you may ##Dump OS
And wipe the system clean. I have no emotion on the matter as I am certainly here as your steward not your leader.

GM NOTES:

I just want you all to be aware that brainbot is an NPC computer system. You do not have to use them. You have the power to decide whatever you want. Also the official game kicks off tomorrow. Players can still join.

If anyone is confused about the rules the mechanics and how things work now isa time to ask and to learn. Phase0 is a tutorial round thats purpose is to show you how the game works.

Things you can still change

Your OS
Your destination
Your president
Your stimulus package

You can do anything you want so dont feel trapped by me as a GM.
I am playing brainbot who is an AI computer that tends to be snarky and predictive. That is the default OS of ynbar.

Amend P. 0.2: leon has enough power as president. I don't want him to gather more power.
0.5: Freedom while elections.

##CALL Brainbot

How do you change your vote? Like if I wanted to change my Yea vote on proposal 0.1 to Nay? Or would me voting Yea on the contradictory 0.3 override the first vote?

##Vote yea on Proposal 0.3
##Vote yea on Proposal 0.4
##Vote nay on Proposal 0.5

##Proposal 0.6
----
As addendum to Proposal 0.2, all proposals require at minimum one Councillor's yea vote aside from the acting president to be ratified into effect.

We voted him in, let him veto, as long as he's not able to snipe a proposal in by himself.

First of all, as I've repeatedly explained, the amendment isn't something to be voted on separately. It's now a PART of Prop 0.2, so you would have to vote nay on the entire proposal, not just the amendment. Secondly, my amendment doesn't give me any more power at all. It simply requires proposals to be made 6 hours before phase change so that everyone gets a chance to vote on them.

I mean, I'm not against this, but I feel like it's kind of pointless. Proposal 0.2 already makes it mandatory for proposals to be made 6 hours before phase change, and voting ends 1 hour before phase change, so there's at least 5 hours for others to vote on legislation. The only way I would be able to "snipe" in legislation is if no one else votes in those 5 hours.

Brainbot: Looks like our current legislations are too divided too pass.

Prop 0.6 would mean anything passes at 2 votes as long as theres not a nay.
