Huh, interesting. I didn't get to see the last round of drama, but this is exactly why I proposed wD Mafia adopt a Player Code of Conduct. I really love playing Mafia here because of the personalities, but someone gets out of hand every single game as far as I can tell (and I fully admit I have been that person). If you don't specifically lay out, "we expect people to play according to such and such values" - e.g. good sportsmanship, respect for others, refraining from personal attacks that go beyond the scope of the game - you will have this happen. But for some reason it appears the people here think that webDip, unlike... every other online community, is so fundamentally great that you don't need to establish what you believe are the values by which you want to play a game. For example, you think you can tell people to "act like an adult" even though adults wage war, commit rape and murder, are racist and hold other bigotries, etc.

Anyhoo, during the last game I played I tried to remember that Code and apply it to myself, and will do so again. My proposal is in the wD Mafia Master thread, for anyone who cares to read it.
