we then lynch ND

dang we have to be perfect, or ND has to save us again

that is why @cmdr making a town clear is very very important, but it also might be important to NOT make the town clear because then they can kill someone who can make stuff clearer, instead of our town clears Im not sure

a lot depends on ND saving the right person, if we dont make people town clear, he has a better chance to save people, if we make people town clear, he has clearer options, but so do mafia+hyde

I'm down with your thought process, but at the moment I think me vs Vecna is the scenario whose resolution is going to give us the best fighting chance. I don't actually know what Bozo is, but I feel more confident that he's bad versus my confidence in Purple being good. For the rest of you, it's a 1/3 chance. Vecna vs Cmdr is a 1/2 chance.

I want to avoid the scenario that we kill a town today in the 1/3 pool (purple, bozo, cmdr) and then we still have to scum hunt tomorrow. If for example we lynch Vecna or I, then it's more clear who are the liars the last couple days. If I'm confirmed town, we still don't know for sure who is the mafia between bozo and purple, but at least that's a 50-50 and most players seemed to have a medium to strong opinion on that already.

Which is more likely?
Cmdr is Maf, therefore Vecna, Purple and Bozo are all town.
- or -
Cmdr is town, therefore Vecna is mafia and either Bozo or Purple are also mafia.

Actually I'm not sure if that helps or not. At this point, the odds shouldn't be at the forefront of our decision making. We should have better information, to avoid taking unnecessary chances.

I think my case was already made cleaar but to have it in one spot;
I think yavu is scum(for lots of different reasons)
I think if yavu is scum, you cant be scum

Anyone who did this would by definition not do it to their mafia teammate, and since he not only voted for him, advocated for lynch and never moved it off, he is the perfect person to not be yavu’s teammate
