We also know that at least one of Vengeful/Gladiator/Vigilante is guaranteed to exist.

Gladiator and Vigilante are trivial to confirm.

I don't think this was a particularly good rand for town. You can replace any role by any other of the options, except for the Lover, and it would have been about just as good as what town got.

Maybe add the anti-encryptor as a not-as-good as the rest, although it can mess with mafia a bit.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I think having lover and anti encryptor makes it much much harder for town though. Their townclears were their biggest asset. On the other hand it could have been worse if they had cop.
