Not familiar with the subtleties of experienced Town, does that mean we accept Maniac and that makes Espresso scummy or do we accept them both as working pro-town and turn to Kalel or Food?

I still read Maniac as scum fairly consistently back through the game, but if there’s any doubt in our minds we should turn to surer scum.

I’m actually reading Kalel’s despair and frustration as all too similar to mine, so of the two I’d be more comfortable voting for Food - but for now holding on Maniac until I hear more from Nephthys, EP and yourself.

Why would we be unsure about EP if Maniac flips doc? And both have claimed doc?

So Espresso is scum fake claiming rather than Town protecting me. We have to lynch him. It’s a huge step towards winning this game. I’m guessing not many of you thought that was possible last night?

You’ve all read now how I voted for Espresso when he fake claimed. I called it a fake claim and called BS on his fake RB claim and yet Espresso didn’t acknowledge my comments at all on D3 he was town reading me…

In Maniac's vig claim, it seemed too risky to come from scum, as a lie=death to the real vig. An important note here is that the real vig could disprove the fake claim without a CC. Also, Maniac's tone in the claim posts made it seem like a joke.

And that’s the last time he mentions me until I claim. My guilt or otherwise has been the topic of debate throughout the game, but one of our supposed clears doesn’t even mention me. Doesn’t that strike everyone as odd? Obviously, he has worked out I’m the Doctor and knows that getting me killed leads to his certain death.

Contrast that with other players like Neph, Dargorgei, Chaqa, Kitsune, Sulit, Damo, Foxcastle and foodcoats all scum reading me at some point. It’s not hard to see why I’m scum read. Other PR’s play is confused for scum play.

Indeed, I think the only player apart from Espresso and Jamie not scum reading me is Rdrivera. That really could be because he is scum and didn’t want me dead. After we lynch Espresso we really have to look closely at Espresso. But that scum hunt can wait. For now we have to lynch Espresso.

Chaqa, you're a better player than this. You can't keep getting scum reads wrong and sticking pigheadily to other scum reads. mafia is a game of information. When you get new information it's fine to change your opinions.

I don't believe it for a second.

Maniac has been consistently scum-read by an increasing majority of the Town and somehow keeps squeaking by with someone else thrust into the limelight. We can't let him do this again. He's certainly scum, and at this point I don't care if that means he's mafia or SK. The people we (Neph especially) have highlighted as defending him turn out to have been acting for their own reasons, so I could even believe Handsome Jack as Thanos - and at this point I don't particularly care which brand of scum he is.

I get that there's a subtlety where we're not meant to be fighting Thanos yet (really?!) but from my new player vantagepoint he's just one more person who wants me and my friends to be dead.

And I honestly think he's more likely to be Mafia than SK.

It's true that the majority of the town has scum read me, but that was before they had all the information. You can't rely on previous scum reads to justify my lynch now.

We're on the horns of a defeat here. We can't afford to lynch the doc just so we can then lynch the fake claimer.

Espresso won't flip doc. His only claim to be doc is that he claimed when on the scaffold. No breadcrumbs, no nothing.

He is scum. I think you know he is scum and I'm the real deal. You're now clear. I urge you to knock the town out of its laziness and lead a lynch on Espresso today. Obviously consult with Jamie when he shows up.
