1. Vecna called on Proximo to reveal himself.
2. Xorxes appeared, quoted Vecna's post, and said "Here I am"

Now, why would scum be so interested in finding out who third party is in this game? Survivor is a kingmaker type of role. It has potential to add spice to the game but since it can win with either side it's not a huge priority for scum team. They would probably focus more on finding PRs first. If it were a third party that can win on its own, then yeah.
