I'm glad Squigs got killed. If he made it to the final three I would have presumed he was mafia. I asserted my belief in his Town a lot more than it really was, that way he would get eliminated as he should as the best Town among us.

Here's what I think:

Up to that point (and kind of still now?) I had been quite absent from the game. I think since I am new, and absent, scum thought that I would for some reason not claim roleblock, or not notice damo's claim for so long that I wouldn't be trusted. Because of that they decided to risk a fairly unimportant Mafia member on that in the hopes he would be trusted.

I don't see many other possibilities that make sense.

In previous games where days have been hammered quite early, the GMs have simply implemented a 24 night phase, minus the time that was spent hammering the day. I.e., night ends on the usual deadline 24 hours after the previous regular deadline before the hammer.

Point being: you could move the deadline up 48 hours from where it had been (24 hours from where it is now).

But I possibly want the extra time, so I'm not requesting that yet.

Why do you think scum didn't target you before? Shouldn't this have been a strategy from Day 2?
