Wow, nice! Very surprised at the turn of events - Damo wasn't on my radar at all.

Good call @Xorxes and the others who made it happen last minute. I'll have to go comb through the past few pages to see how you figured it out. Was it just the one post re: bozo's play, or was there more?

We can only get one scan result tho. They're just a VT after that.
A CLEAR VT, which is more valuable after scum has wasted NKs on unclear VTs rather than when scum still has NKs to spend on them.
Fair. I guess it really depends on how long the cop thinks he can survive.

Nobody but me voted him for that, so there must have been something else.

Well, cop should leave a clear indication of what the scan was for when he flips, but there's no need to reveal early unless it's a guilty. And even if they get a guilty, it might be better to wait and use it in our favor, but that depends on how things develop.

Do you suggest that all players leave peeks in second half of D2?

that's in case he didn't get a guilty

let's say he got one VT confirmed, no need for him to hardclaim, but let all of us offer peaks and maybe he can survive more and get us to have 2/3 confirmed if we also count our doc

Question to the more experienced players, how sus is last minute voting? Flipping last minute is usually rly shady in person, but I'm also getting the vibe that forum EOD is always busy.

In any case, the people who went on Damo closest to the end were EMC, Teacon, and Moscow. Might be worth keeping an eye on them on D2.

there's definitely a scum in that bunch, too many tries of wagon re-orientation prior to D1's big finale

No! I trust the cop to be smart enough to leave a clear indication of his scan without revealing himself.

Besides, it's not obvious that the cop should scan tonight. It depends a lot on who they are and how exposed they are.

there are 2 scum left, I find teacon as a great candidate because of his attitude of establishing a townie presence, he was mega involved, but last few posts made him look suspect, I think he wasn't careful enough despite his efforts

Moscow is also a huge candidate, supposedly he hasn't seen anything wrong with damo, anyway I'm a bit biased when in comes to Moscow because of his push against me, but what triggered me most was his pop-in 2 minutes before EOD to hop on damo, also I notice a difference with Moscow in regards to his demeanor, he was more light, funny an fluffy as town in contrast with quickly becoming intense and very determined this game.

e.m.c - a bit unusual, has a stressed aura if only I could feel his pulse, also he seemed a bit passive in regards to scumhunting, concentrating more on answering teacon's questions

I'm leaning this way, too. I went through teacon's posts and found 2 red flags. http://mafia.peterlund.se/e/web/msgs?g= ... er=teacon7

:!: note: I'm not rly sure how to do the proper quotes on the forum, so I'll just do them normally and leave it to you guys to make sure I've quoted teacon accurately. fyi - I took only the relevant material from his posts.

1 - Inconsistent Stance on Policy Voting
Page 27 - teacon wrote, “-rdriv points out that we should be finding scum rather than info lynches. I agree. I asked about info lynches b/c I wanted to know who we think is/isn't providing info.” and also, “-ND points out that calling for {policy lynch based on useless playstyle} is scummy. Agree.”

Despite claiming he was against policy lynches, his vote was for either ND or Percy for ~2/3 of D1. He had his vote on ND and Percy until switching to Damo at the end.

2 - Last-Minute Flip
Page 29 - “I'm all for lynching Percy today. But I'll move to damo if it's between him and ND. What are you going to do?”

Page 30 - “In my experience, scum rarely pile on the same wagon at EoD. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen it happen.”

Page 31 - “alright. ##vote damo.”

This looks like he was pre-empting a flip AND trying to soften the blow if anyone called him on it. It might be genuine, but it looks more scum than town to me.

Not sure if ND is scum, I'm taking Durga's words into consideration

but if he is a scuminator, his team likely hates him, they would try and slap him into reality and force him to post proper things
If we lynch him today they won't have an opportunity.
OMG, if it's damo-ND-Vapor this would be too funny.

Can we push the deadline back
Can we do this for the subsequent days? It looks like EoD is 4 or 5pm EST + I don't get off work until 5  . If the change doesn't work for other ppl, then no worries!

I'll check it out. Do you mean page 25? We're on 35 now.
